Once me and my bridal party had got on the vehicle and set off the door slid open as it had not been closed properly. The driver didn't stop or pull over instead asked me the bride to stand up and close it whilst moving. I struggled to do this but did but feel it was unacceptable. After we got to the venue my 86 year old grandmother fell and the driver just decided to stand there instead of go get help. He spent the rest of his time aggressively stating he's not allowed to help anyone on it off. But that did not stop him from going to seek help did it. Then he went round the back of the venue where our photographer stated he was quite rude about where to park despite my husband having previously spoken to someone and arranged it all. He decided to park next to a puddle. every single person who spoke to him wasn't happy with his attitude he came off as incredibly rude and went on and on about my grandma never once asking if she was actually ok. I could have forgotten about the ride being bumpy and him being slightly grumpy. But the door opening and his attitude and lack of attention I think is unacceptable. I am very sad because I did love the bus but I'm afraid all my guests were just as upset with him as me.

Great addition to our wedding for a quick and easy transport for our guests from each venue- I know the ladies in heels definitely appreciated it! As the bride, I didn't actually go on the bus as we had a car but from the pictures, it looks like our guests had fun! It also got our friends and family chatting and sitting with people they didn't know so it was a good vibe all round! We must mention and commend the driver who steered and turned the bus around in a very tight spot of the street- all without power steering! Thank you for being a part of our day!

We hired the 1947 blue double decker bus from Yesteryear for our wedding to get me to the registry office and our guests from the registry office to our reception venue. Communication during booking and in the run up to the wedding was excellent and incredibly clear despite some slightly complex location and timing logistics and our guests loved the little road trip. Greg and Ken were helpful and friendly and we would definitely recommend booking a Yesteryear vehicle to others.

Thoroughly pristine vehicle.We couldnt have been happier with the vintage bus (1947 Albion) that we chose to carry our wedding guests to our wedding venue. It had been a surprise for the family and to see their faces was spectacular. Made us feel very special, so a huge thank you.

The process from initial enquiry to the actual wedding day was very smooth and easy despite a couple of hiccups along the way. One of which was due to the fact that only one guest declined so we had more guests than available seats on one bus (not a bad problem to have I guess!) Greg very swiftly sourced a suitable second vehicle for us. The other was an unexpected vehicle breakdown the day before the wedding which is only to be expected from old vehicles. Again, this was very swiftly sorted by Greg and did not cause us any issues on the day.The drivers were extremely friendly, professional and suitably dressed in bus driver attire. The vehicles were immaculate and most importantly the guests absolutely loved their bus ride from the church in Oxenhope to Ponden Mill.

As part of my 70th birthday celebration, Greg and his wonderful Royal Blue Bristol coach gave my guests two delightful rides round Bradley, Skipton, Gargrave and Broughton. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the coach was in immaculate condition and rode very smoothly (unlike many modern buses). Thank you for a great experience.

Yesteryear Vintage Vehicle Hire provided the open-top bus for our wedding in July 2018 and the journey to church and back became a really significant part of the day. The booking and arrangements were easy to make, service was first class, the vehicle was in tip-top condition, and the driver and clippie were wonderful. I would thoroughly recommend this firm.

I hired the 1948 Royal Bristol Coach for our wedding on 29 February in Leeds after having seen it parked outside our village church during the summer. Up to this point I hadn’t even considered hiring a vintage coach and I’m so glad that I did. The initial enquiry and deposit secured a coach and we were able to see all the coaches in the depot in Bradford before confirming that it was the Royal Bristol that we wanted. Greg contacted me during the week of the wedding to confirm timings etc and everything went according to plan. We had kept the vintage coach a secret from our guests and so it was a fantastic surprise and started the wedding off in great style. Driving through the centre of Leeds on a Saturday afternoon caused quite a stir with people waving and stopping to take photos. We all felt like royalty. I’d like to thank Greg and the driver for making the experience so easy, stress free and pleasurable. I would highly recommend Yesteryear to any bride and groom wishing to hire a vintage vehicle for their wedding.
