excellent company to deal with, ordered on Friday delivered on Saturday. Trevor very easy to talk too as on of the items had been mismarked by the supplier, new one sent out straight away.

I’ve been using the guys at midlands for years now, recently come back into the hobby and the guys were very helpful in bringing me up to date with all the latest and greatest.Delivery on parts and spares is amazing, I’ve had everything the next day. If they say it’s in stock it is, not like other retailers where spares take weeks to arrive. The only guys I’d be shopping with.

Original review:DELIVERS YOUR ITEMS BUT DOESN’T HELP YOU IF THEY ARE FAULTYI've been buying loads of parts from this company over the last few weeks. I decided to buy a premium part (swashplate) that costs a lot more than standard. I had a very soft landing into long grass and my new part broke immediately. I had had much (much!) harder crashes in the part and the original swashplate had never been damaged, it not a common for this part to break in this way.I explained the situation and suggested a manufacturing defect, or sub-standard quality control, but they would not heIp and were quite defensive. I explained I am a regular customer and I had spent between £300 - £400 just on parts over the last few weeks with the company.They said I could return the part for them to inspect and determine if it was a manufacturing defect, but I think we all know what the answer to that would have been. They would say it was my fault, it's just a crack in the metal.This is a solid company but I don’t expect a premium component to break on the first flight. As an honest customer asking for help with this, I was quite shocked at how they dealt with me.It would have made very little financial difference to them to send me a new stock swashplate, like around £20, considering the hundreds I have spend with them so far and would have continued doing so.However, it makes a big difference to how I (and undoubtedly others) feel about their company when you have a grievance and they totally dismiss you.Reviewer: Will HuckleTwo photos - you can see the damage compared to how it should look. Bear in mind this was the first flight, gentle crash with blades not spinning into long grass! Anyone who know about these things should agree not to expect much damage. Especially not damage here which is supposed to be a strong area on a premium componentUPDATE:In order to be fair to Midland helicopters, 2 months on I feel I need to write this addition to my previous review.Since the bad experience I had I have continued to purchase parts for my helicopter and orders always arrive very quickly and they have always delivered exactly what I ordered with no mistakes or any other problems.I’m still disappointed that the premium quality, expensive version of the part I ordered was so fragile that it broke first time on a gentle crash, especially considering I have never had this problem with the equivalent stock part. I know why it happened. The support arms that naturally have to withstand a certain amount of force are too long and thin, much more so than the stock part, and they are inherently a weak point. For an expensive premium component I hope you you understand the frustration this caused me. When you spend more for a high quality product you expect it to be superior in every aspect, and I’m afraid the opposite was the case with this precision cnc swashplate. I have had multiple crashes with the stock swashplate and it is one of the only parts that has never broken because the control arms are shorter and therefore more durable.I requested a replacement but it was refused and I’m this made me feel incredibly frustrated because I knew I had been sold a weaker product that was more expensive. When I was given no support from midland helis about this it was very frustrating.Since then, I thought I would give them a second chance, and the service they have provided has been very reliable with fast delivery every time.Suffice to say I will not be buying the premium price cnc swashplate again as I believe it is over priced and seriously flawed.I don’t want to harm this small business with this negative review and I felt it necessary to make it clear that other than the problem with the component in question (which to date they still have not resolved for me) the service I have received from them has been very good

Rob & Trevor have both been really helpful including setting up my new heli with the radio. Bought a lot of spares before and parts always arrive very quickly and well packaged. Not my local store, but more helpful so I have been ordering from here.
