We ordered large Bi folds at a great price and the service was excellent, attentive and detailed. When Covid struck we could not continue with our renovation and our deposit was refunded in full. Mark was amazing and compassionate and we will definitely be returning to this company for all our doors and windows in the future.

We are architects and purchased windows, front and patio doors for our own house. We are really happy with the quality, detailing and competitive pricing. Customer service was next to none. We will return with other projects.

A very poor experience with country hardwood.Provided a defective product and then refused to rectify the issue.

This company supplied timber windows and doors for our orangery plus timber roof lanterns.The owner was very accommodating at first, giving me a remote tour of his factory to show me how they do things etc.He said they didn’t fit orangeries even though their google listing said they do.So I paid approximately £23,000 for the above items and sought an installer to fit them for us. I managed to find a reputable carpenter who installed everything for us, but they had a massive headache getting everything to fit and commented that it was a poor quality product.I had supplied the measurements as they wouldn’t even come out to do that, probably so they could blame any problems on that, which they duly did, and also on the fitting.I supplied measurements about ten times to them, checked and tripled checked by me and my builder so these were correct.Then came the problems, windows not locking or even shutting properly, window bars coming off, rubber seals coming away, windows not staying open etc.When I asked the owner about it, he first blamed the installation, then the measurements, then how the items were stored (apparently they can’t be stored in their plastic wrapping and not in a cold environment (they’re doors and windows for heaven’s sake!). It seems everyone and everything is to blame except them.I simply asked for him or one of his team to come out and have a look at least and he refused, quoting something ridiculous for a site visit.I made the point that window bars and rubbers should not be coming away and has nothing to do with fitting or storage, although my fitters are excellent and do lots of high end work.I’ve since had a locksmith in to check the locks and he also commented that although the handles are decent (for which I paid extra), the locks were all cheap branded and poor quality. So now having them all changed to better quality locks at further expense.I tried to get this company to help me out, even come and have a look but the owner was so reluctant to do so it was very disappointing and stressful to deal with.I feel I am left with a second rate product which reminds me every time I look at it.They say the true measure of a company is not how they act when things go well but how they act when things go wrong, and this company have failed miserably with their customer service.

Really happy with my whole experience with Country Hardwood. Instead of the typical bifold doors I wanted a more traditional look with 3 sets of French doors on my extension. Looked at UPVC doors and none looked authentic enough. Got a very competitive quote from Mark and assistance with the design. Final product was better than expected, had installed for several years now and not had any issues at all and in fact I have had issues where I installed some UPVC doors. Builder was adamant I shouldn’t go with wooden doors as he said I would be pulling them out in a couple of years, as long as I look after them I can see them staying for a long time. So pleased with our roof lantern in our new extension, helpful staff, excellent communication, very efficient, very fair price and most of all fantastic quality. Our builders and joiners put together the DIY lantern and commented on what a quality piece of kit it was. I looked around many companies to find the right price and quality and countryhardwood/prestige roof lanterns always came out on top. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to have a roof lantern.

We got our bifold doors and rooflight from Country Hardwood about 5 years ago. They were very helpful throughout the process, and have also been extremely helpful at fixing a couple of minor bits of wear and tear at no extra charge. Our doors still look great and I would highly recommend their customer service.

I cannot fault the service we have received from Mark and designer Jason. From the moment we placed our order for bifold doors and large window, Mark responded to all my email queries (there were many!) and provided us with a price we were unable to find anywhere else. Excellent customer service all round so I will definitely be using Country Hardwood again and recommending them!

I used Country Hardwood to design and manufacture replacement windows and doors for my home. They provided an excellent design service discussing all options available. The windows and doors are all of a high quality, made to measure and fitted perfectly. Mark provided an excellent after sales service, replacing a few incorrect ironmongery components and has provided additional advice on redecoration specification for future maintenance. I would definitely recommend Country Hardwood to anyone requiring bespoke windows.
