Was looking to buy a new television and surround sound system from Sevenoaks and the gentleman was helpful at first although I wanted a demonstration on one of the products that they had on display and they told me they couldn't because they had a client coming in soon, so I said I'm going to get some lunch and come back in an hour and a half and asked if they could give me a demonstration then when their client was gone and they said yes. When I came back the gentleman working there could only give a demonstration on the television because he hadn't bother to connect any of the surround sound that they said they would before they left. So they told me to book an appointmet for another day and come back up to Bristol so they could give me a proper demonstration but I live over an hours drive away from any of their stores and can't afford to take a day out of work to come and look at TV's.In the end I went straight over the road to Richer Sounds and was given a proper demonstration of a TV and surround sound system which I thought was perfect and the guy working there (who's name I can't remember) spent over an hour and a half talking me through all the different equipment and demonstrating it to me on the spot.

The best Hi-Fi (Visual Audio) store in the entire universe as far as I'm concerned! The friendly and knowledgable staff make for a pleasant experience whether you're new to Hi-Fi / AV or looking to upgrade existing system. Demo facilities help too as do keen pricing and offers. I can't thank Sevenoaks enough. Originally, I called a local competitor hifi store in Cardiff and asked about buying the KEF LS50 Wireless II because I wanted to save space. The assistant told me that they were not very good and I should buy a separates system instead, despite only having heard the previous model. He couldn't answer all of my questions and when I asked if I could return them if I wasn't satisfied, he said that I wouldn't be able to, unless they were faulty. In frustration I called Sevenoaks in Bristol. The Sevenoaks assistant could not have been more helpful. He told me about the features, how they sounded and answered all of my questions, without seeming to oversell them. He said I could return them within 30 days, if I ordered them online. I ordered them and they arrived within 2 days. I am delighted with them. They sound really good and there is no clutter. They play from my NAS, Tidal and have in-built Chromecast. Excellent service Sevenoaks! What a contrast.

Recently bought a Denon unit online which was faulty (unusual, I know), I rang the Bristol shop and a replacement was dropped at my house the same day by them on their way home from work! Where else do you get service like that? I have been using Sevenoaks for years as I know they only stock decent stuff and their advice and support is excellent. This time that excellence was exceeded. BTW, the replacement Denon unit works perfectly. Just need a booster antenna now to fix my awful DAB reception. Thanks again guys.
