This homebase lived up to my expectations of what a homebase should be like.I personally am not a big fan of the chain of shops they are not as good as B&Q's in my opinion.This store has a nice large car park which is convenient for large vehicles or people towing trailers.

I did a click and collect order but then I didn't need the item in end so I just left uncollected and thought that it would automatically refund after the collection time had gone past (Like every single other shop) but my refund never went back to my credit card, I emailed Homebase who replied telling me I have to go to the store to get a refund, What an absolutely ridiculous system!I will never buy anything from Homebase ever again cos of this experience.

The staff were very helpful with our purchase of a folding table. We were a little disappointed with the condition, dirt and stains on the table but were advised they would be removed by washing it when we got home.

We came looking for wallpaper. There is only one aisle and it is all very much the same. The two papers we did want to take samples of we couldn't as they had none open and as they were in stock since April they couldn't open up another sample roll. Everything seemed more expensive than elsewhere so we left empty handed.

Went to get my click and collect order today and I noticed once my husband and I were travelling back to Scotland that a completely incorrect item was given. I ordered a set of 3 pot hangers and instead was given 1 of a set of pot feet. I called customer support who told me to return it to the store after confirming the item was indeed incorrect. I'd advised that wasn't something I could really do and I got no help from there. I give this rating based on the level of customer support received and the boxes were dirty when I received them. I won't be using Homebase again after this experience.
