Lady Windsor cycling route

It’s been our favourite walk route for the last 12 years. I wish the local youngsters don’t spoil the trail with the CoOp beer cans “sprinkled” all over the path.They even set fire to it. I saw it with my own eyes.

This route is so pretty and flat and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The walk has lots of benches along the trail to watch the wildlife or to just rest and collect your thoughts. This route is often used by walkers who travel along route 47 through Ynysybwl and over Llanwonno and finally reaching Meardy with its two stunning reservoirs, namely Castell Nos and Llewst Wen. Then over the Rhigos road and detour to Rhigos view point and Zip World or simply continue across the road on route 47 NCN and through more wind turbines that are much taller. This route will take you to another smaller reservoir called Lyn Fawr. The route takes you as far as Fishguard with amazing view points along the way.
