What I saw looked great

Bleak two-platform station on the Waterloo-Weymouth line. No facilities except a booking office (now under threat of closure) with helpful, resourceful staff, and a single-cubicle unisex toilet. The bridge between platforms has steep stairs each end - no ramps, no lift, no tunnel, no disabled access whatsoever. This is a dismal way to get to the county town of Dorset, even if it is right next to the beautiful Brewery Square.

Nobody to assist on platforms. Heavy baggage is extremely difficult to haul up the stairs and across the bridge,then down the stairs again. More chairs inside are needed.
