This is my Local Church built in the 1400s and it is beautiful. Come along and see for yourself.

Friendly and welcoming maded me feel relaxed and comfortable great atmosphere

Loved the church and the graveyard especially the history of it

Shame it wasn't open. The architecture was compelling, and the graveyard was interesting. But as the entrance was locked -and blocked by an especially cheesy Christmas stable diorama- I was unable to appreciate much beyond the racket that the traffic on the A-road across the river was making.I will just point out that the grave of John Deane is to be found here. He was, indeed, the reason we went. A fascinating, adventurous life, that won the UK Gibraltar, amongst other things... But sadly ended when, as an 81 year old, he was mugged and beaten, dying of his injuries shortly afterwards. Plus ça change.It would be nice to see his grave more decorously maintained, truth be told.

Great local church at the heart of the Wilford community.

Beautiful place. My great niece was christened here just recently (so was my niece many years ago and my sister married here and that was 33 yrs)

Kind, welcoming, and beautiful. St. Wilfrids is both a quiet retreat but also a vital church community, one which we couldn’t live without. A joy.
