This company is only in business because they have the local authority contract to service their tenant's boilers.They are absolutely awful, i wouldn't be using this company if it wasn't a requirement from my landlord.Serviced my boiler only for it to stop working immediately after the engineer left.Reported it as an emergency/no heating/no hot water/. They finally rang me after 2 weeks and many phone calls later from myself to them, they told me engineer would be here between 18.00 hours to 21.30 hours, sat here waiting like a mug and no one turns up!Avoid this shower of cowboys at all cost.

Booked early September for a boiler service for my 92 year old mother. They gave me an appointment in early October . The appointment was cancelled three times by them.. On the last two occasions without any notification from them. I was told they were too busy with other work to turn up. They cannot reschedule and suggested I call them next year. I checked that my mother was on their vulnerable persons list as we had notified some years ago. She was not but I asked the receptionist to put her on the list. I asked what I could do if the heating went down. She said I could call but they wouldn’t do anything because they were so busy.AVOID!!

Apparently, according to this company, they are moving away from Domestic Boiler servicing and maintenance. My elderly mother was left extremely distressed after ringing them to try to book an annual service for her boiler recently. We have used this company for a long time now.No one seems to care or be caring anymore. A sign of the times perhaps?

This company is an absolute JOKE. An engineer came out over 10 days ago to fix a leaking radiator valve, which he did. Hours later we have a huge leak in the upper bleed valve, emergency call out was needed, and leak fixed but left with no hot water or heating. Today we were due to have this issue fixed 10 days later might I add with no hot water or heating and small children in the house, to be told after me having to chase them today as no sign, oh very sorry this engineer will not be out today as he booked last minute holiday!!!! Still no sign of getting this fixed, days off unpaid. Just simply appalling service.

I'll say right off the bat that the engineers are normally very good and very helpful when they arrive, but the admin side of things is honestly appalling.My mobile reception is very bad at work, which often results in a 40 minute delay in receiving a text that the engineer is on their way and by that point they'd already have been and gone. Last year I tried to give them my work number so I can run straight over as it's only a short walk, but the person on the other end of the phone refused to take my work number because they had to press a number to get to a person (which only takes 2 minutes), so they told me I had to wait in. Some of us have jobs to go to and I don't have the time to wait in for FOUR HOURS!I have annual gas safety checks from them on behalf of the council, so this year I decide to take a day of holiday to wait in as I couldn't be bothered to fanny around with them again. But this time I got a last second text on the day that the appointment had been rescheduled.I ring them and I find out that the engineer was off sick and he apparently tried to contact me the day before, which is fair enough, but the communication leaves a lot to be desired. I did get a missed call the day before from a strange number with no message, so I thought it might be a scammer, but it was apparently the engineer. How was I supposed to know?And also if admin knew the engineer was off-sick, surely it's their responsibility to contact customers in good time and make doubly sure those things don't happen? And the fact I had to chase them up for that information is honestly appalling. Like I said, the engineers are normally very good when they arrive, but the admin side of things is honestly one of the worst I've come across.

We have had our boiler serviced by Central Heating Services for many years. In the past they have been excellent but they have been taken over and have completely let us down. Our appointment for a boiler service was postponed twice. Now the system needs repair. They sent a consultant engineer who diagnosed the need for a system flush. When we phoned to book an appointment they said they do not have anyone who can do it. I have not been so let down for a very long time.

All but useless. Engineer comes out to 'fix' boiler, leaves me with a severe and continuous leak (which floods my kitchen) and no heating or hot water. When I call im told the earliest they can get someone out is 5 days later. This is not ok, told a manager will call me back. Doesn't. Follow up again and told this time they cannot now get someone out until 6 days later!! Did manage to work out between them that they should send someone to at least stop the continual flooding that was impossible to contain, so not completely useless, just almost useless.

I would give no stars if it were possible. Don't waste your time relying on this company - they don't show up to appointments, even ones you've had to take off work for, it's no concern of theirs if you don't have any hot water or heating, all they seem to be good as it telling a lie and wasting your time. 7 days of no heating and hot water and it's not looking likely they'll ever be bothered to do anything about it. I'm not sure how this company are still in business, just look at how many reviews are written about their cowboy services.

We have had to call CHS out due to issues with our boiler several times over 3 months in the winter of 2019/2020We had gone without hot water and heating for over a week before. They continually missed appointments when we had taken time off from work, turned up late when they they said they had booked emergency appointments appointments due to a member of the households disability, and have also admitted to not booking appointments at all when we have reported emergency issues out of hours.The call centre staff even said they would not book an emergency appointment despite disabled persons being in the household as everyone is in the same boat" what sort of excuse
