National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

What a waste of time and money, booked an appointment slot with them at the Liverpool branch to have 2 tyres changed. Booked a time specifically because it coincided with my lunch break. Arrived on time to be told i'd have to leave my car with them and they would do it when they had time. They advised that actually they dont accept any timed bookings even though theres a booking system on their site?...Utterly useless

£169 for one budget tyre the same tyre cost me £80 at Belmont tyres that’s the first rand last time I’d go to national tyres

Book an appointment with them and staff with sitting without doing nothing and laughing at me and says come another day..Never again

Booked online for wheel aligned turned up and got told can’t do it waste of time

I Drop my car there for front wheels alignment, day after the problem was the same .I go back to the shop to complain and ask to have a look and they say to call customer service, waste of time and money

Put the car in here to have 4 wheel alignment in the morning. I collected it after work at about 4pm.Oily dirty boot marks all over both my brand new colour coded front car mats, steering wheel covered in oily dirt, and my seat. oily hand prints all on the paintwork and somehow items in the side netting in the boot of my car were no longer secured and sliding around in my boot.Odd that when I picked up the car the engine was fully warmed up, I had dropped it off in the early morning, and the ramp they use is 10 yards away from where i parked my my car. .I can't prove it, but my car must have had a good ragging about somewhere for the engine to be fully warmed up and all those objects in my boot had broken free from the netting.Someone needs to sort that place out.UPDATE.I was contacted by a gentleman named Craig, and we discussed this matter.He said he had spoken with the manager and he will be addressing the issue with his staff.I was given a full apology and full refund within a day of Craig contacting me.So thank you for sorting this out.

Booked my MOT and Service here. The Manager was ill and the Assistant was having a baby so didn't open on time. How often does that ever happen?! But the staff collected keys and dealt with it really, really well.My car was ready the same day. Nice and easy. Just what you want.A little bit of confusion as I went to collect and was told I needed new suspension and some other work that wasn't for my car. The system wouldn't let them add it thankfully. I don't think the young lad was used to the system as I'm guessing the managers would do that. They were busy, the managers were out. Yet they still got everyone's work done and I wasn't lumped with 2k worth of unnecessary work. What's not to love!

Been using National Tyres for quite a number of years now,usually the Hawthorne Rd,Bootle branch,,always helpful and which is most important to me,trustworthy.

Friendly staff, they had a lot of work to do on my car for it's MOT, got it all done in one day kept me informed and a fair price
