Very well equipped bouldering place. The staff are really pleasant, the toilets are really clean. It feel welcoming and the bouldering routes are fun and challenging. There are routes for beginners too.

Great place for beginners and more experienced climbers. The colour coding system is really clear to help you know which routes are best to take. Great fun activity! There was a lack of storage space for shoes and bags when we went as they were having construction done.

Bouldering is of great fun. Compared to gym training, it requires more strategic thinking and body coordination. The facilities are good, the staff are nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. Definitely worth a try.But they are a bit short-staffed during peak hours, which may result in a fairly long wait. Also, the wording of the registration form is a bit tricky, not straightforward ‘all yeses’ or ‘all nos’. It’s better to read it and fill in with care when doing the pre-registration.Given the shape of the shoes, one size larger than your usual size would be appropriate.

An awesome climbing center to go bouldering with friends, a lot of different walls to try. I didn’t have any climbing experience so was afraid I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the place. How wrong I was! There is a simple but informative introduction video with all the needed explanations about rules and best practices for beginners, the staff is also friendly, attentive and ready to help with any questions.Tracks are colored by their difficulty levels, with white ones being the easiest to climb and black ones the most challenging.Gave the place 4 stars not 5, but only because of its open storage space and lockers one can’t actually lock without paying extra; I feel that for the price they could provide customers with more secure way to store things.

Nice local gym. Small but they make good use of their space with lots of features. Route setting was pretty good, but didn’t like the monochromatic setting with only three or four color choices. Good community feel with great music. Only reason it wasn’t 4 stars was they left all the doors open in January and it was freezing, but somehow there was still a ton of chalk dust in the air.

This gym is one of my favourite gyms around. The setting is really techy and the climbs require a good mixture of movements as well as pulling hard. There are quite a few different sections with lots of different wall angles. The low ball area is one quite unique with shorter but very hard climbs and lots of sit starts. Upstairs there is a good sized circuit wall as well as other training walls and gym equipment. Good vibes all round and well worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is the biggest bouldering place around with a good mix of beginner to advanced routes. It's a friendly place and serves great coffee, I'll going back as soon as my grip strength recovers!

I've been coming here since the first week it opened and I've never been disappointed. Really good route setting thanks to a great in-house team as well as frequent guest setters, and the staff and regulars are all as friendly and helpful as you could possibly hope for.In addition, they always seem to be looking for ways to improve. It's grown and evolved an impressive amount over the last 5 years, with the addition of many fun and different wall shapes and styles, an ever expanding range of holds, frequent competition sets and a well equipped training area away from the main walls. They also fairly recently added a very posh coffee machine (Dylan's espresso is a thing of beauty and worth the visit on it's own) and there's a new wall section soon to be completed which I'm sure Henry will use to set even more cruel and unusual (in a good way!) problems for us all to solve.Sure, the layout is a little quirky and it's more expensive than some, but then that's Cambridge for you!

Judging by the other reviews, my experience seems to be very similar. The receptionist was particularly rude and unwelcoming. I walked in and help the door open for someone, without hesitation the receptionist shots “close the door”. When I sorted my pass out and shoes, the receptionist very passive aggressive and sarcastic when I asked questions. Not a great first start. Shame rainbow rocket is the only wall for miles around, otherwise I wouldn’t return. The prices are astronomical too.

Staff are delightful, kind, highly professional and really helpful. I started as a complete beginner, and - thanks to the staff who run it - the women's/non-binary peoples' group is the warmest, most welcoming time! I really really recommend coming along to a social if you're looking to get into climbing.
