A1 Ablewell

Very good service and helped me get to my destination as quick as possible , the driver was so nice. This is the best Taxi business I have ever used.

Rang these guys in a panic after being let down by another company to get to the coach station. They had a car with me within 5 minutes, driver was pleasant and car was clean and seemed well maintained. Got to the coach station in good time and price was cheaper than the other company too, will be sticking with Ablewell from now on.

Initial contact was great, thought all booked and sorted until the day. Driver parked out of sight of our hotel so we were late finding him which he seemed annoyed about. We'd booked for a wheelchair taxi, he parked on a slope which affected the ramp, did not assist my mother getting up it and her chair nearly tipped (even with assistance getting in and out again we had the same problem of the ramp tipping her chair). Then the return journey we discovered what I'd been told when booking was incorrect as they hadn't booked it properly to take us elsewhere rather than back to pick up point, even though I'd mentioned it 3 times. No confirmation text was sent regarding return because I was told there would be no issue sorting on the day. That turned out to be untrue. Sorting that out we were spoken to very rudely by the office and to be honest the driver was not much better. Return journey probably cost us more than it should have but we decided it was the quickest and best option to just get where we wanted and cut the fuss. Overall quite poor service considering we booked, were specific about needs and we were clearly going to a funeral given the destination. There was even problems finding the place because the driver didn't have a working satnav (bearing in mind destination was given at booking) and we were made to feel bad because the driver decided to wait even though I'd said at booking return would be over an hour after drop off. Fortunately don't live in the area but will remember not to use this company in future as it was just unprofessional and badly handled and didn't feel as safe as other wheelchair taxis used in the past.

Had a lovely driver to the manor hospital very chatty when we got to the hospital he helped me out of car because I had a broken leg very helpful will used them again

The driver arrived on time, there was traffic and I needed to catch a train and he was very helpful in trying to find the best way to get to the station on time. Very friendly and polite. Thank you Bozlur Rashid for the great service! I would definitely use again.

My son left his phone in car, they were really helpful and kept safe until collected

Brilliant service. We were staying in Walsall for a concert at Villa Park and found the number of Ablewell Taxis in our hotel reception. We rang and they arrived almost straight away. The driver said we could pay up front for a return visit or could book the return when the concert finished. We opted for the latter.They dropped us off ar the Tesco nearby and we agreed this as a meeting point.We tang as we left the venue and Number 1 driver arrived straight away. There was a little confusion on pick up location but he waited on a nearby street for us which we found easily on Google maps.Very friendly service and reasonably priced. Really happy with their service and would definitely use again if we are in the area.

Used company to go bham and left the phone in the taxi, I reported it lost to the company, who then located the phone and kept it safe until I collected the phone after my night out. Thanks guys
