A historic landmark turned into an art gallery. This place is magical with vast landscape and a tiny lake with amalgamation of art. An art gallery worth your visit and time. The gardens to explore are a breath of fresh air. With amazing activities happening in the place often. Take your kids and pets for the weekend. Sit inside their cafe and explore art. An experience you will remember.

Varied but important collections. The material in the Chinese and Northern European galleries is internationally significant. Exhibits very well presented. The landscaped grounds and house are worth seeing as is the church, a rare example of Capability Brown's architecture. Good restaurant.

This house contains some fascinating items to look at. I was particularly impressed with the folk museum and the Chinese collection which has on display some outstanding artifacts that I feel are as good as, if not better than those in the British Museum.Unfortunately the weather was not good so I did not have the opportunity to look around the Capability Brown designed parkland. A good excuse to revisit.

Attended a book launch event, held in a private room. Great surroundings for an event. Enjoyable lunch, the fish finger sandwich on sourdough came with plentiful salad. The grounds are lovely - think Capability Brown and you're there!

Didn't expect such a diverse art expo, lovely to walk around the gallery and then have some coffee downstairs. The map provided lacks some of the pathways in the park, but it is easy to get around and practically no chance to get lost.

We came to see the Audubon exhibition...which we really enjoyed...but discovered that there was so much more to see. I loved the wildflower meadows &saw so many varieties of butterflies than I have seen for a very long time. My husband loved all the fantastic trees too. Our only regret is that we live so far away.

Lovely day out here on a hot June afternoon.. Spent most of our time just basking in the sun next to the lake .. took a picnic and just sat and enjoyed our surroundings .. Didn’t need to go in the cafe so not sure what the food and facilities are like inside.. plenty of parking on site which is free but admission is pricey .. £18 for adults and £10 for 19-25 year olds .. children are free! Overall a lovely day out.. lots to do for kids to :)
