Went today. Site is pretty good,Few things however, the game modes were not suitable for the size of the field. Barely saw any enemy players due to the layout of objectives. The biggest issue was the time. Arrived on site at 8am, players were all ready by 9:15 ish and we were still waiting to start. We ended up starting an hour later at 10:15 and then played for 45 minutes, we then got dragged back to safe zone just to get told to swap the game over rather than just do it on the spot after endex. Wasting a lot of time. We finished the one game mode and by this time it was mid day, lunch lasted a ridiculous amount of time, around 2 hours to get to the next game mode, which was an overcomplicated 3 team mode that caused players to not play the objective and run around just shooting each other, spawn trapping one team.TDLR, spent half the day sat in the safe zone instead of actually playing airsoft. Game modes too over complicated.

Love this place took my son about 9 months ago and ever since we are both now fully kitted out with everything we need for the day.You have everything you need from the trench network to open field play to CQB areas. The staff will go above and beyond to help you if you have any issues the shop sells everything you need

Good layout, tonnes of trenches and buildings etc. Seemed to have a good atmosphere.Only downside was some of the staff. As soon as I arrived and went to book in, a young looking lad operating the till got cocky with me at 9 in the morning because I accidentally said that I was a walk on rather than own kit book on! I know it sounds minor, but considering how I have never gone to this site before I do not expect staff like that to cause a scene even before the day has even started. Happy that the woman marshal stood up against him. Also had a marshal at the chronograph, asking me why I was asking him a question about the site… perhaps because I’m not a regular there???The run ins with the marshals kind of spoilt the day, because I didn’t feel welcome from the get go.Part from that OK

Great outdoors airsoft course. Primarily suited for skirmish type play. Lots of structures, amazing dug out trenches, and a very wide area. This course makes for a great day out with plenty of game type variety.

Okay where to begin, arrived this morning, car park is good lots of room, benches scattered around to place kit on and work from if you don’t fancy working from the boot of your car, nice large drawing of the site to help players orient themselves and staff are able to describe games better, shop was fully stocked with everything from BBs to pouches to pyro to rifs you name it they’ve got it also some very cheap deals on pyro which is rare to see nowadays, as for the actual game site it’s awesome the trench systems and tunnels are awesome to fight in popping up shooting then getting down again, brilliant !Now for the not so good stuff, the staff called everyone in for the safety brief and to my absolute amazement it was a recorded they played through speakers, I was in disbelief, no “hi guys I’m (so and so) I’m the site manager” just a dull miserable robot telling you the rules, no staff were to be seen (there may have been but no hi vis or stand out clothes were worn to say otherwise) no one to make sure people were paying attention and not on there phones or messing about with kit not listening, the staff that I did manage to identify 3 of them were very reluctant to conversant with anyone who I can’t only imagine wasn’t a regular player at the site, the games might as well have been explained by the poor robot audio recording because that’s about as much life and thought was put into them (Marvin from Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy comes to mind) games were not fleshed out and a majority of the fantastic site was out of bounds leaving little room for flanking the enemy, games were attack and defend and then once that one finished it was the same again but from another side, extremely dull, another massive issue I found was hit taking, players being hit, pausing looking to see where they were shot from and if not seeing you continued on their way, I spoke to a few other people who left before lunch and they recalled the same thing prior to them leaving the game zone, I did look for a marshal during the game however had no look finding one till after by that point me and the guys had decided to pack up and head back home. The site has so much potential and it’s such a shame that the staff for lack of a better word… can’t be arsedI hope to return to the site one day and fingers crossed will be able to write a new review of my positive experiences at NML
