The Lane Ends
Most bizarre experience! We are 6 middle aged well dressed adults, having a quiet drink in the corner. There was a DJ, playing music far too loud for the small amount of people there and given it was only 8.30. Service very slow as only one person behind the bar. He then cam over and asked one of our party ( female) to remove her trilby. He also asked a lady on another table to remove her knitted hat. Two well dressed men in flat caps came in and sat down and a woman appeared from behind the bar and whipped their hats off and walked off with them. Absolutely bizarre, will not be returning.

We wanted to sample the Yorkshire beer and hit gold with this pub. Very friendly staff and a fun, if quite noisy, bar. The lounge was quieter and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

I used to play darts and doms in this pub, we took some trophies in before covid came, so the people that go in there can see that they have a great darts team there. But now we need the trophies back the LANE ENDS has lost are trophies and will not pay the money for them. Because with the trophies are on there property they are in charge of them. And now they are not taking responsibility of their actions. If I were all of you watch for them nicken your money. Them at the LANE ENDS can not be trusted.

I do believe this is a nice pub for locals,family and friends but only reason why I give it a 3 star is because they don't have child changing rooms facilities to change your child's nappy other than that its a very nice place

Been going in years, but lately has gone a bit down hill. Sky sports has now disappeared. Beer has gone up in price. Its now a lot quiter than it used to be. Have updated the decor snd outside but it's missing alot of marketing to get if back on the map.
