Just an addition after having to be “relayed” from Wrexham to Newark my “Henrietta “ has a “new” second hand 6 speed Gearbox and new clutch/slave cylinder!Unfortunatlely Christmas and New Year got in the way and her MOT ran out!!! Today after driving her back she got her MOT with NO advisories and a free wash inside n out! Majic. Credit goes to I & B Cars of Newark they stood by their warranty and if the Gearbox hadn’t failed the Clear MOT shows a good purchase.Unfortunately the The garage (Newark Autocentre)that did such a good job on the Gearbox. Changed the offside rear tyre under instructions from I & B Cars when I first agreed to buy her,they put a part worn on.Over the three monthsto December she was rarely used, that tyre kept losing pressure! Once I got the Golf back from Geaarbox change. I took the tyre/ wheel to a local fitters for repair,only to find it had been previously emergency " repaired with a string kit! It wasn't repairable so it's cost me a new tyre as neither I & B Cars nor Newark Autocentre would not change it!NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THAT.Hence reduced stars!"

Excellent, nothing was too much trouble, Lily and the dealership owner went above and beyond for me in making the delivery of my car as smooth as could be. Professional, courteous and extremely helpful. One of the best dealerships I have dealt with. I would definitely recommend I&B motors without hesitation.

Excellent service and lovely staff. Rang them to view a car and they were very accommodating, had a test drive within the hour and very impressed with the car so left a deposit. Once the car was ready they came and collected me from my home so I could purchase the car and drive home. Best experience of buying a car and would highly recommend. Unfortunately that great experience didn't last as wasn't long before the flywheel and clutch needed replacing not to mention they don't notify the DVLA so you get a V5 no matter how many times you ask them.

Such a fabulous car dealership ,went to look ,found a car ,drove it home the same day and they paid good money for my old car .Found one of the tyres had a nail in but when they were notified it was fixed within a couple of hours .Lovely, and helpful friendly staff and will definitely be our go to from now on .Very highly recommended !!

Great little dealership in Newark. They were very patient with my finance application and understood all my needs. The car is great and I would highly recommend. If you’ve had finance rejected elsewhere this might be a good choice for you. Deposit paid Wednesday and drove the car home Saturday. Finance was applied for Saturday morning and all done by lunch time. Picked up the car after work on Saturday and the team even came back to open up to let me fetch it . Thank you to the whole team there for your service. If you need anything don’t be afraid to ask them. They’ll understand trust me.Update: my v5c arrived today with the name spelt completely wrong so if you do get a car from here make sure they double check there work

Recently bought a car here, entire process was very smooth, easy with no pressure whatsoever. Business clearly run by a trustworthy couple who are down to earth and take customer satisfaction very seriously. I asked if the car had a timing belt replaced and the seller without prompt changed it himself to ensure it was done. Highly recommend buying a car here

My experience with buying a car from I & B Cars has been unprofessional and misleading. Firstly, the car was advertised as having a service history, which was confirmed over the phone when I enquired to book a test drive. Turns out this was not true, and there was no service booklet. They assured me the car had been serviced recently and would provide me with the receipt.Having got the car, I had still not received the receipt of the 'service' that they had supposedly done. I was phoning them constantly and they said they would get it for me. I had to go back with a fault with a spare key that had been cut, so I once again requested the service receipt. What I received was a joke - a piece of notebook paper with a scribbled oil and filter change" on it. I took the car to a trusted mechanic
