Awesome experience!! The staff, the place, the food, the atmosphere and the icing on the cake was the band performing today. My 2.5 years old German Shepherd was a bit anxious but everyone there, including the band, made him feel extra special, comfortable and safe.The band was fantastic, the lead singer, drummer, guitarist etc. were all just really good! Had an absolutely amazing evening! ❤️

Original review February 2022, updated April 2022I have visited the Barrel & Horn pub many times over the last 5 years and this is one of the best pubs to come too for their beer selection. The staff know the beer selection well and are always happy to share information about the drinks.Although I have eaten many items from their menus over the years, I prefer their weekday menu over the roast dinner options. Only once has there been a shortage of a menu item in the kitchen, the chef offered an alternative sauce that worked really well in the burger.The pub itself has a nice relaxing atmosphere with some quirky interior designs. Toilets are always clean and well stocked. It is dog friendly and the price range charges typically what the pubs in this area charge.Update: I have visited 4 more times and the new menu choices and execution has definitely bumped up the star rating to 5 stars. Really great to see them bounce back despite the challenges the hospitality industry are facing right now.

During the day this place is a fairly standard Bromley pub... what makes it five star?... the live music on a Friday and Saturday night!To be fair it's well worth a visit at other times and the drinks are good and the staff friendly but if you are only going to visit once then do it when the live music is on!

One of our absolute favourite locals - love the changing beer selections and live music evenings. Had never eaten here however, and made the initial mistake of booking the next door Artful Duke for lunch on Saturday. Some of the worst service I have ever encountered saw us walking out and coming next door - found a table, ordered food and drink and were served all within 15 minutes, as well as for about 20% cheaper than what next door was advertising! Staff are lovely, atmosphere is warm, should have known this would have been the winner all along! Will be very loyal customers from now on.

Unfortunately we waited over 45 minutes for the 3 for £15 small plate appetisers, before we decided to leave.Bar staff were apologetic and appeared embarrassed due to an incompetent new chef, however, my 3yr old was hungry. For a small shared order, it was poor service.

Booked a table at the Barrel & Horn as it was convenient for all parties attending. Pleasantly surprised wide variety of beers and spirits on offer at the bar. Staff amicable. Live music was introduced @ 9.00pm which was nice. Lovely pleasant evening.

Nice pub and good atmosphere BUT!!!I’ve been here a good few times…… I won’t return !!!!!But yesterday myself, my son and a friend went to enter at 9pm. But unfortunately the door staff wouldn’t let my tee total son in as they said he was drunk!!!! The guys had a bad attitude and were very condescending. So based on that if I were you I’d go to a friendlier pub two doors down that also has live music …..

What a lovely find in Bromley. Interesting decor: liked a combo of teal and brown, vintage film posters and gaming.Ideal for a lunch and get together with friends. Staff was friendly and helpful.
