Service for registering births is by appointment only. However website is v poor for booking appointments and if you opt for pay on the day your appointment gets cancelled! So you waste a trip! Staff v unhelpful on completing the v short registration when you are there because their website is terrible. If you confirm an appointment on the phone it is much easier, but to 2 visits and 2 days off work because of this. Not v impressed. It was clearly a common issue as receptionist knew straight away what the issue was!

Used the civic offices to register a death, not many staff when you first walk in due to COVID restrictions, they have taken the soft furnishings away and replaced them with plastic chairs, which I can understand why
