I normally do not write review but today’s experience left me in tears, I had my hair done in the salon previously (over 2 years ago) I specifically made an appointment for today, over a month ago, over the phone, I’ve booked myself for full head highlights and toner, I’ve not been informed that the patch test is required or invited to get one done, this morning after I sat down do discuss what I want to get done, I’ve been advised that the patch test is essential and cannot be older than 6 moths, as this is a strict company policy, as much as I do respect this, I will recommend the management team to train their staff properly and suggest to invite the customers to come and get their patch test done prior to the appointment. It was very important to get my hair done today as I am going for concert, if I knew I needed to get the patch test done I would happily come to get it done. Just the whole experience made me so upset. If you are returning back to the salon after 6 moths book yourself for the patch test as the staff may not advise you that this is essential, book you in and then refuse to colour your hair.

Fabulous experience and Jodie was so sweet. She did a great job cutting my hair. I was visiting Edinburgh for a wedding and got a cut and blow dry. The salon also has a very sweet, well-behaved dog!

After searching for a long time for a hairdresser that could do vibrant/fantasy hair, I was so glad to come across Rock n Rose's portfolio on Instagram! I have been their client for over a year now, and I really appreciate their consistency, artistry, and how well they actualise my unusual requests. Nicole specifically is fantastic, highly recommend her for making your hair dreams come true!

Milly and her colleagues did a fantastic job! I have very long hair and they were still very meticulous and took their time to give me lovely results. Really happy with my balayage and will be popping back in when I need a top-up. :)

Everyone was so friendly and professional. Beatrice did an amazing job and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect result for what I wanted. Mermaid dipdye with silver blonde roots and long layers. Best hair style and colour I've ever had. The colours are blended perfectly and great chats throughout. Highly recommend

Beatrix (B) was amazing. She didn't talk my ear off, but still made me feel welcome and in safe hands. She executed my hair color and cut requests perfectly and I will be using her again. :)

All members off staff very nice and easy to chat to. Great service and very reasonably priced!
