Frites-Leith Walk
Nice crisp chips, and better than normal chip shop chips, but they were loaded with so much salt that I couldn't eat them. In Belgium they don't add salt to the chips at all, because the sauces contain salt. The chips in Belgium taste far better, and people can also add their own sauces, which would be preferable, because only the top chips in my portion had a little sauce over the top of them, and all the rest of the chips were bare. I was disappointed.

Delicious warm and flavourful chips.We ordered the large and it was like a big bouquet of fries. There is no sitting area, it’s like grab and go!

Takeaway fries. Let me say at the outset that these are very large portions. My partner and I took two L portions and barely managed to eat.Yummy CurrySlow cooked pulled chicken dressed with a savoury Yummy curry sauce, cheddar, green peas and garnished with fragrant coriander.AndPeri Peri Chicken PoutineSlow cooked pulled chicken loaded with cheddar and green peas, covered with our signature gravy and topped with Peri Peri sauce.Very good and hot, despite the sauce still crispy fries.Minus: too much salt.

I used to go quite often but the recent price increases (now £6.85 just for a large fries with nothing on it) has put me off. I ended up buying a medium and don't think I'll be back unfortunately.

What would you like ?Started with the usual question but the answer would be always fries at this place.Enjoyed my tikka dirty fries, heavy and fully loaded. Good amount to share between two.Time was just 5 to 11pm, already few customers were there, I felt that the place close at 11.This location is so welcoming from outside by the way they have fitted. I feel sorry for the guy during December. Great location when the tram and road open. Also a parking place outside the shop was great idea.Recommended to go early and enjoy.

Peri Peri isnt really difficult to make something tasty. However, the pulled chicken was cold and looked like sick. Chips werent cooked long enough, soggy as hell from this watery tasteless sauce on the bottom. I hadnt eaten anything all day, but still I couldnt take a second bite.
