Very nice quite

Very dusty plus noisy if situated near the shower and toilet block

No tents allowed which is crazy as tent campers spend a lot more money than people in campervans or touring caravans, it used to be a great place for tents ⛺️

The Shower block and toilets are what you would get on a workman's building site ..the camping ground is rough and is covered in loose stone like you would expect on a building site..I think £27 a night for November is expensive for this site ...the site management need to put proper permanent facilities in and sort out the make shift site / camping pitches ...I have only given one star as the site is right on the beach otherwise I wouldn't be awarding any stars at all ...I think the site is run by the Hightide Bar that put on one of the best 5th of November firework displays in Wales that is well worth going to..it's just unfortunate that the caravan/ motorhome park looks so run down.

Enjoyed our stay we stayed up on the gravel pitches lots of room around pitch lovely views

Sandy Bay closed down maybe 35 years ago. More big changes soon with the hi tide amusements and market all being knocked down. Porthcawl won't be the place to visit but a place to live.

Good basic site toilets and showers ok if campers locked them after use with own keys to prevent outside people using them close to everything you need

Lovely caravans, lovely area but litter allover and no public toilets.

Love it down here. Fab beaches and plenty of space

Worst campsite we’ve ever stayed at. Booked a pitch with electric and water hookups but weren’t told there isn’t any water hookups on site. Rubbish everywhere, nobody on site if there is a problem. Toilets and shower block only cleaned once a day therefore disgusting. Would never stay here again!!! Only plus side was it’s close to the beach and amenities
