North Bay Beach

Lovely walk along promenade, plenty of parking, cafes n toilets. Great for surfers. Dogs allowed out of season.

I was not expecting that awsome beach in Yorkshire. It was my first time there and beach was great like beaches in south. One of the best beaches I’ve been in UK. Highly recommended

Had a lovely walk along North Bay Beach on a rather wet and wild day. Some great views of the rain clouds out at sea. We managed to stay reasonably dry on our walk lol we love visiting Scarborough.

Had been to Scarborough several times but first time at the North Bay Beach. Lovely long sandy beach well kept with rocks at one end exposed during tide out. Great if you like to puddle through rock pools. Lots of colourful beach huts, public toilets and eating place available. Very popular with dog walkers and families. Ideal for walking the promenade all the way into the main harbour. Well worth a visit but must warn you that on my visit mid Oct there are loads of sand flies that can be a real nuisance if you're not used to them.

First time in Scarborough visiting N Yorkshire, the weather wasn't great but that doesn't take away from the fact that this is a beautiful, quiet little beach with a lovely walk along the front. The beach itself looks very clean, cute little colourful huts line the front promenade and there is a little pub hidden at the end with outdoor seating overlooking the bay.There are a few shops and cafes with indoor and outdoor seating, and some are dog friendly too. The watermark cafe was dog friendly both indoor and outdoor and served very good coffee. I will be back to Scarborough to visit again.

Lovely beach and a lot quieter than the south side. Really nice cafe on the front called the Watermark with excellent coffee and cake. Very enjoyable to watch all and their dog enjoy the beach

We parked up on the front and walked the dogs through to Scalby Mill and back. It was great to blow the cobwebs away. Reading the history was very moving.Shame the parking was so expensive.One of the most impressive things we noted was how clean Scarborough as a whole is. Great to visit somewhere without litter.

Great beach, good swimming & water sports options. Watch out for the jelly fish & the tides though. And make sure you take a wind break as it's super windy!

The council have done a really good job to ensure there is lots of parking along the bay and along the marine drive.Wish the toilets were open 24 hours, theyre already on a pay system... But clean and purposeful.Lovely views from the bay. Worth a visit
