Jess spent all day on my hair recovery journey and it turned out better than I could have imagined! She used four different colours including bleach to get it to a manageable state so I can go lighter in the future. Absolute pleasure, what a relaxed and peaceful yet thoroughly professional environment. Thank you! I have found my new salon!

From the moment I walked in Nicki,Clare and Jess were full of smiles, welcoming and the energy was so positive. I didnt have an appointment but had hours to spare,they let me sit in the back,we had a chat and loads of drinks. So hospitable and the best Salon I have been to. Nicki cut my hair lovely and how I wanted it and Jess gave the best head massage. Clare has done a lovely job with mixing pamper with mental health. Well done ladies ❤️

Bliss! I have huge anxiety about going to the hairdresser's but I was soooo relaxed today and enjoyed the experience so much. The attention to detail and inclusivity to make sure each client feels comfortable and relaxed in the best way for them is exemplary. I had the Zen treatment alongside colour and cut. Reiki and head massage was amazing, so relaxing I could have nodded off. My hair looks and feels amazing but that almost felt like an incidental given the wellbeing boost! Thank you so much for a warm, authentic, nurturing few hours.

Fantastic experience at Self Love Salon, as always.The atmosphere is so relaxed and calming.Claire is so talented at colouring my hair. I leave the choice of colours to her and she always gets it right. My haircut is always commented on.Jess is an up and coming talent who is well supported by Claire. Great team work.Pam. X

First time at this salon and I was feeling a little apprehensive, jess made me feel at ease straight away and kept asking if I was happy with everything. I paid more than I usually would but you can tell the difference with my hair definitely worth the money. Jess was a delight to be around. I am definitely coming back x

I love going for my hair done here. Claire and Jess are amazing and the atmosphere in the salon is great and fun.I’ve been going for a few months now and I had been having my haircut more or less in the same style it had been in but the last time I went Claire mentioned about doing something a bit funky. As I now know how amazing she is, this time I said do whatever you want with it. She did and I am so happy with it. It’s made such a difference to me and my confidence. I’d never really liked my hair style before but now I love it.

My first visit to the salon was a lovely experience. I was made to feel welcome. They discussed how I wanted my hair, listening to me and advising when needed. I left with a fab hair cut which I am very happy with. Prices are reasonable too. My hair was cut and styled by Jess, who is a cheery professional stylist. Would I go again, definitely. Would I recommend yes!!

Where do I begin...i can honestly say this is the best hair salon I have ever been to. If you struggle with anxiety like myself or you are very shy, introvert or have a condition that makes you feel embarrassed like me (Tricotilomania) and find the whole experience of going the hairdressers stressful then this is the salon for you. And if you don't have any social/mental health issues then this is still the salon for you. My very first appointment left me feeling like I had known Claire and Jess for years and like I had been a loyal customer for years. You won't find more understanding, friendly and kind people then these two ladies. I finally feel like I have found a salon that I can call mine and I am looking forward to my next appointment. The salon itself is so calm and tranquil and stands out from the rest because of all the plants and crystals. I love those unique touches such as having the option to hold a crystal during my treatment and choosing an orackle card, being offered a warm dink and even a blanket (this melted my heart) and an aura cleasnse as I was leaving. And having the option to have a quiet/non talking treatment or a chatty one. As for my hair, its never looked as healthy as it does now, Clair and Jess are wizards at hair colouring and everyone who came into the salon on my visit left with absolutely stunning colour and cuts. I won't be going anywhere else from now on, its perfect!

I felt totally at home in the self love salon. Not only did I get a gorgeous cut and blow dry from Jess, who was kind and professional, the experience as a whole is just positive and lovely. If you don't feel like chatting, they totally respect that and if you do, then it's like you've known them for years. Being into crystals, spirituality, and positive mental well-being, the self love salon is the perfect place to find a bit of zen and good energy whilst getting pampered. I can't wait to go for my next cut!

I have never been to this salon but got an appointment the same day . I was made to feel welcome and the respect they have for you is unbelievable. They even made my grandaughter feel welcome. Jess who done my hair did it the way I wanted and jess took her time . The atmosphere was amazing so relaxing and friendly .I would definitely recommend this salon and would go back .the staff who work there are amazing ,can't fault them at all
