Pets at Home Llandudno

Absolutely wonderful service. Very friendly and knowledgeable team and a great selection in stock for all sorts of pets. Plenty of parking right in front and trolleys available (pet food can be heavy...)

Recently went to the pet pals event they are running throughout the summer holidays. It was absolutely amazing and my granddaughter loved it (age 6). It was a small group only 4 other children and parents/guardians so was very interactive and the lady who did the session was fantastic getting to know each child and taking time talking to each one about the favourite pets. They started by making boxes with hay in for the rabbits,guinea pigs,rat an hamsters and then choose who they wanted to give there box too. They could make as much mess aswel and had great fun. They told you all about the animals what they eat and how long they live and how you know there Happy and healthy. Then they got the hamsters out 1st so they could watch them play on the wheel and run around the base of the cage and Stoke them. Then the guinea pigs came out and she held them but they were able to stroke them and learn all about what they like. It lasted just over an hour and each child was given a box with stickers,balloon a certificate at the end. It was all free of charge but has to be prebooked before hand. But definitely well worth a visit.

Unfortunately I am at a loss …. After my experience today My hamster my little baby boy teddy bless him he’s getting on now so by chance I was in pets at home today looking at toys and stuff anyway I looked in the cages at the little baby hamsters just being nosy…… the gentleman came over and moved the bedding gently he was gentle …. But the poor little guy when the man’s finger was near him was screaming and I mean screaming I looked at him confused and I said “I’ve never heard a hamster sound like that before “ the laughed it off and said they all do …..So my question is I know a hamster screaming is a sign of fear and distress?1. Is there a way I can report the neglect and mistreatment?And2. What if some poor child is bought this hamster …. It’s not friendly because it’s been mistreated?I left feeling so sick I just thought omg the poor baby

Not a bad place for your pet supplies but some items can be found a lot cheaper elsewhere. Staff are friendly and helpful but it's all about price nowadays so be a savvy shopper!

Great shop with everything you need, also fantastic staff that go above and beyond to help you, not to mention the free doggy treats at the till, it makes your dog want to return and yourself for such great service and prices.I have used many times from cats to dogs to rabbits, and have never had a bad experience there or there after care. Great shop with plenty of stock and plenty of help if needed, highly recommended to anyone local or not local who are passing. 10 out of 10 from me in every way. Always great service when sorting out things for my fish tank

While in Llandudno i thought I'd pop in pets at home to see if they had any shrimp in for my tropical tank which I have had for 4 years and they did.On asking for one and giving my details I was told that I am blocked from buying any fish reptiles etc so the assistant rang head office to find out why,All they said that I was blocked with no explanation and that the block would be lifted at 10 am the next day,What a load of rubbish I have never heard of this before and to top it all there was customers in as well l will never set foot in a pets at home store again.

Lady member of staff was lovely. She helped this old technophobe get into the app to see if I had any vouchers which could make my order cheaper, and it did, Thank you for any savings xx

Went in to your store this afternoon after traveling from Yorkshire with my family and our puppy, the puppy was sick all over the back of the car, we bought some wipes, the two young ladies on the counter were so very sympathetic and incredibly helpful. I was just amazed at their caring approach and professionalism. As were the two ladies upstairs at Vets4pets. I was amazed at their knowledge and professionalism There ladies are an absolute credit to both business, what ever you are paying them, I would increase it, they absolutely deserve it.
