Robinson Crusoe Statue
I've loved this village since I was 16.. I'm 71 now and it s still the same . Beautifully kept with some amazing artwork and carvings .Didn't visit the Crusoe Hotel this..but it's never let me down before.Beautiful peaceful place to visit.

Robinson Crusoe Statue
Statue is in very good looked after condition.Parking is easy and free just along the road.The Crusoe hotel just along the road has just reopened so easy to get a drink and or a meal nearby.The beach is lovely and clean, stretching for miles from East to West.

It is a statue in the wall of a house , you can miss it if it looking up it is signposted opposite, a plack below gives the explanation of who he was and the reason he was the influence of the book Robinson Crusoe .

Robinson Crusoe Statue
Situated in Lower Largo, the birth place of Alexander Selkirk who was the real life castaway upon whom the book Robinson Crusoe was based. Its on the upper floor of the building so look up when you get there or you may miss it.

Robinson Crusoe Statue
It's a lovely statue above someone house. It's well sign posted and well looked after. There is other carvings dotted about the place as well for you to go and look at. There also gates with seashells and other sea related them on them. It feel like a proper seaside town with good community spirit. The parking free as well although the car park not that big but the toilets are there. There also the beach that clean and tidy.

Andrew Selkirk the man who Robert Louis Stevenson based his character Robinson Crusoe on, this is his statue celebrating his birth place in a beautiful Fife town of Lower Largo. A must if you love the seaside with its houses, beach and friendly people.
