Excellent service, lovely Italian menu and swift delivery of the food. Happy and organised, leading to a great atmosphere. Capable of dealing with groups.

Popped in on Sunday 21st May whilst out on a bike ride. Not only was service painfully slow we were charged £17 for a koppaberg cider bottle and pint of peroni.The 2 girls on the till didn't have a clue how to use the till and didnt even know what beers they had on draught..I asked the next punters that arrived also on bikes how much they paid for their drinks. They said they hadn't yet paid as the girls didn't know what they were doing on the tills.It transpired we had been charged for someone else's drink and we were refunded but not a great experience for a first visit.Pub is quite run down food looked awful. Won't be in a hurry to returnEdit:After using the toilet before leaving which had no toilet paper (icing on the cake really) I returned to our table and my other half told me that the girl from behind the bar(who I assume was in charge) informed him that she had 'seen our review' and that 'It wasn't nice as it was the other other girls first day' and requested that he add that we were refunded for the drinks (which was already included in my original review) she also added that we 'had caused her big trouble'The complaint was not directed at the server but more highlighting a training issue. But after her outburst over the review I found it highly unprofessional that we were approched about a review that we had submitted. No appology was ever given for the level of service recieved or the bad attitude from the staff member complaining about the review, This will definately guarantee that we will not be returning to this establishment again.I would also like to question why this certain member of staff found the time to read my review whilst there were very long queues at the bar being served by an untrained member of staff on her first day.After this additional experience since writing my original review I can only offer 1 star due to the poor level of service and attitude of the staff member.

The food and table service were both excellent. We had shared a calamares starter, then had crispy 'proper' pizzas!

Great deal on a free bottle of wine for 4 people.Huge choice and amazing food.Service was very prompt.
