Good accommodation that is affordable in Bangor. Some services could be improved, such as the 24/7" maintenance and security. There is no such thing

One of the best halls in the city for Bangor University students. They have got the most friendly accommodation on-site team to attend to any matter on ground. A beautiful, neat and lovely Hall. I recommend 10 out of 10

Good studio room with en-suite and kitchenette. Could be better with more freezer space and an oven+hob combo rather than a convection microwave oven which doesn’t do that good of a job as an oven. Personally I brought my own air fryer which fit well within the kitchen area. The kitchenette could also have done with maybe one more cupboard for crockery storage.There’s a great amount of storage space for a studio room. Plenty of under bed storage space plus wardrobe and desk drawers.The room also has a coffee table and small armchair along with two bar stools and a desk chair, so there is room enough to have one or two friends over or have a partner live with you for some time.The room did get hot during March-June and I never needed to use the radiator. I was keen to leave my window open (on the third floor) however there is a kebab shop right next door and greasy kebab smoke would blow into my room near enough every day.This isn’t so much a problem with the room or building, but worth noting.Unfortunately the studio apartment did not have a washing machine so students must use Circuit laundry which is in the ground floor laundry room. It is not cost effective and costs £3.80 per wash and ~£1.50 to dry.The machines are not good and clothes end up smelling ‘neutral’ and not fresh after being washed. For the price, the washers are a rip-off.If you do frequent washes or want to do separate washes (sports clothes, towels, bedsheets, colours, whites etc.) then the cost will quickly rack up.Very friendly and responsive team members, staff were always quick to reply to emails and always happy to help. I enjoyed popping into the office just to collect parcels or ask a quick question because the team were so nice to chat to.There were some minor issues with incorrect and incomplete contract information being migrated between online systems due to changes in management teams/company changes, but this was a unique issue as I had a contract extension spanning two different USL residences.The communal room and main office had been renovated during my stay at Neuadd Kyffin and had been done brilliantly. Staff are constantly promoting social events held by their team which gives a nice sense of community and feels very welcoming towards residents.Mail deliveries were handled well by staff who would often post small packages and letters though your room’s letterbox. Very nice of them.Larger packages are held within the office which is open weekdays 9:00-17:00 but only between 12:00-14:00 on Saturdays. Worth knowing before expecting to collect a parcel on weekends!Great private residence to live at for short term contracts, but not as much for extended stays due to the cost of laundry facilities and lack of kitchen appliances. Having all bills (electric, water, internet) included with the rent makes things easier and is a perk to staying at Neuadd Kyffin. Great value for money and clean, comfortable and private residence.

Best student accom in Bangor! I was shocked to see how nice the accommodation is for the price you pay. Wouldn’t be the same without the friendly & helpful staff. Housekeeping staff are lovely and always say hello, not to mention the office staff Sam & Yas are so welcoming & really make this accommodation feel like home. Couldn’t ask for better :)

Amazing place. The rooms have a nice distribution of spaces and the common spaces are comfortable.The location is ideal, near the university, supermarkets, and the high street. The staff is incredibly warm, kind, and attentive. They also organise many events (such as painting sessions, halloween events, trivia nights, etc.) and provide lots of freebies (sweets, food, shampoos, conditioners, and many more).

Amazing building and fantastic rooms for the price! Accommodation staff are absolutely lovely, and the housekeeping always give you a friendly hello when you need it in the morning! Especially a major thank you to Yas and Sam for making it so welcoming and a great team to be alongside!

I've been living at Neuadd kyffin for about 9 months now and I've had the best experience staying here. The place has all the essentials and amenities to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay which is helpful especially for Uni students who are juggling different things. I especially love that they organize many fun activities and pop-ups for the residents and I always come away with so many freebies and gifts. A big shout-out to Sam, one of the property managers, who is the loveliest and most welcoming person. She has been so helpful and supportive whenever we reach out to her. She ensures to address any concerns we may have with the accommodation as soon as possible and has always been extremely welcoming even when I go into the office several times a week with questions and concerns which has been really valuable to someone who is new to this city and country. Sam has really made my experience here so joyous, and so I'm confidently renewing my contract here for another year because I know the whole team here will always be there to help!12/10 would recommend this place, it is worth the price!

I moved into Neuadd Kyffin ever since I came to Bangor back in 2020.I was very pleased and happy with the staff, very welcoming and friendly. My room was as I expected in the pictures, clean, and in an excellent condition.I’m still staying here, and I’ve rebooked for the coming year.Value for Money, Central location on the high street, secure, and well maintained.Highly recommended in comparison to other private student accommodations in Bangor.
