Woodland Caravan Park - Adult Only

We stayed for 3 nights and had a fantastic time. Park is clean and tidy, and owners are very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. It is so quiet and a beautiful campsite. The only down side is the bike racing track. The noise is quite intrusive. But it would not put me off staying again, I would just make sure there is no racing on that weekend. Thanks for a great few days.

Beautiful wooded location, you feel you have escaped civilisation. Most spotlessly clean toilets and shower block I've seen anywhere, let alone a campsite. There's someone taking a lot of pride in making this site a nice retreat! Friendly Owners who are happy and helpful. We will be booking again for sure!

We stayed two nights here, very nice and clean.Set in the woodland, you can hear the road traffic noise. Facilities are very clean and nicely presented. Ashbourne was a nice place, but a little tired. Added bonus for us Adults only. All facilities Toilets, showers water, CDP, Washing up,and EHU.Washing Machines and Tumble Dryer at a reasonable price of £3.00 a load. The price £25 per night. Warden was very helpful. Would definitely return.

What a fantastic place to stay ! Secluded campsite in a woodland setting, with hard standing pitches, electricity points and a water refill tap close by. The toilet and showering facilities are spotless, and air freshener was even provided. WiFi access in the reception area is provided, but phone signal seems fine on the campsite itself. The staff running the site are lovely. Some nice walks around the site too, and it is dog friendly. A really nice site to stay at !

Such a wonderful site with lovely staff and a great safe and secure area to walk your dog.Being in-between the trees really makes this site feel special, so much nicer than the sites that just pack you all in!Great location as well, not too far from anything you may need with Ashbourne being just down the road.Having a reactive dog, it was so nice to have the dog walking woods where we could let our not off the lead, something that doesn't happen often.The pitches are nice and level, didn't need to use any chocks etc.Mobile signal is pretty much ano so don't expect to be able to stream anything, but who cares, it's lovely to get away.Obviously no fault of the site, but the damn trees do like to drip their sap in your car :)Toilets were very clean and tidy when ever I went into them. Always had hot water and as long as no one else was having a shower, good pressure. This did drop if someone else was showering but not enough to worry me.Nice lot of information at reception if you want to know anything about the local area, Including walks etc and a few bits for sale.Will for sure come back if we are staying this way again.

Just had a wonderful two days at Woodlands. Site is well layed out and well maintained and facilities are immaculate. A big bonus is the secure dog walking enclosure where your dog can be let off which is great if it's a reactive dog.The pitches are offset in the woods making for a relaxing time looking out at the trees. The managers are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely time.

Lovely site, with very clean facilities. You can tell that the team take time to look after the location to provide a nice experience for their guests. Some noise from the road nearby, but nothing too significant.

We stayed here for a few nights on our way to Leicester.Very quiet site, in the middle of the woods, so not much TV/Sat signal, but lots of 5G.Birds, squirrels and other wildlife come and have a nosey at your dwelling.Only a 10 amp EHU so be careful what you use. Our big kettle kept tripping the breaker, so we had to get out the good old whistling gas hob kettle.To be expected on a site this size and it was a learning curve, but no fault of the site, just our lack of experience with lower amp sites.All in all a great place for a few nights stay.

Very good location, showers could be hotter or at least have thermostat fitted, power on site is an issue, boiling water without any other electrical on trips the RCA.Toilet block is clean and warm.
