Not a very good option, we went by 8 and they said we couldn't order any food, there was one bartender in the whole place. This is a place for the usuals and localities to come and have a drink, not worth a visit if you want a proper meal and good service.

I love to finish work and walk to this bar and sit outside in the sun. Helpful staff and a good choice of local ales.

Understated Real Ale venue incl amusements. Warm friendly atmosphere. Well kept. Celtic typography upon signs offsets the flags. Please do not rush here rowdy crowd lovers... as I enjoy this place just as it is. First visit. Not my last. Bus route adjacent. Perfect escape from RDG Central.

Friendly staff very clean with a good selection of beers would have liked more ciders on draught crisps selection great if your looking for a nice quiet place for just you or a couple try this pub its perfect

This place I found for the first time a few years ago as part of the first Reading Ale Trail. It's a pub with a great atmosphere, the staff are welcoming and friendly; the beer is very well kept and delicious. A hidden gem worthy of a visit.
