Frances Day Bridal provided me with a truly extraordinary bridal experience! I was feeling a bit disheartened after trying dresses on at lots of different shops and feeling like I was not even close to finding the one. The minute I walked in to Frances Day I knew this shop was different. The collection of dresses they have in store really is the best I came across - Julia and the team have such an amazing eye. I really appreciated the fact that the collection was not overwhelmingly huge but there was still such a variety of styles to try.I ended up trying on dresses on a couple of occasions and never felt rushed or pressured in to buying anything. In the end I chose a dress which I loved and Julia suggested some ways they could alter it. Her experience really showed and I totally trusted her that it would be the right thing to do... and of course it was! The dress was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and Jenny altered it perfectly. They helped me to choose all my accessories too and again have a fantastic choice in store.The team are so warm and welcoming and really feel like an extension of your bridal party! I cannot recommend them enough!

Beautiful dresses, in a beautiful setting with beautiful staff who were happy to accommodate any specific needs. I felt that there was a genuine interest in me and not just in selling me a dress. She made sure that I was able to give my opinion of the dresses we tried.

From my first appointment the lovely Emma made me feel welcome and guided me to find THE dress (it ended up being the first one I put on.) In the following appointments I met the rest of the team and they were all just so lovely! I could stay all day having an amazing time with the team, trying on their beautiful selection of dresses. They have so much to offer, don't think about, just get your appointment booked. They even sent me a beautiful personal Christmas card!!

Absolutely amazing experience! Julia was just perfect! The enthusiasm and genuine care radiated as soon as she opened the door! I have never felt so comfortable and confident! My entourage all felt the same! Julia saw the vision I was going for and kept the appointment moving in such a positive way! I felt so fantastic! Frances Day Bridal was my first choice for wedding dress shopping and I was so pleased that we found this place. Julia made me and my bridal party feel so welcome as soon as we walked through the door. I felt so nervous as this was my first time trying dresses on but Julia made me feel at ease and guided me in the right direction with which dresses to try on and accessories etc.I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that is looking for the perfect wedding dress.

I am so, so, happy that I found Frances Day Bridal and the incredibly talented, welcoming and downright gorgeous women behind it. I was so apprehensive about trying to find a dress - I'd never seen one that I could imagine myself in, and I was prepared to be pushed, persuaded and pressured into buying something that I would regret. Shopping with Julia and Emma couldn't have been a more different experience than that.With my mum and nan in tow (and my maid of honour on FaceTime) I felt so relaxed, understood, and calm. Trying on dresses (even the ones that really didn't suit me!) was the opposite of stressful; we giggled at the ones that we're quite right for my shape or style, and celebrated together when the Jesus Peiro I'd had my eye on in their legendary sample sale was the dress for me.Our wedding was, like so many others, postponed due to the pandemic, but the FBD girls kept in touch with me for the next two years; sending sweet cards, and even inviting me in to have a try on when it was safe to do so! When we finally had a new date booked in, we got the fittings booked and the entire experience was absolutely flawless. Again, filled with lots of giggles, a bit of fizz and lots of shoe chat!On the day, I felt absolutely incredible in the dress, so while I'm so sad that I won't be popping in every month or so for a fitting and a catch up, I cannot thank Team FDB enough for making me feel so welcome, and so *me* on my wedding day!If you're looking for a wedding dress and are in any way nervous, please do book with FDB - they will look after you so, so well!xo

Living in the same town as Frances Day Bridal, I get to walk past the shop regularly and swoon over their dreamy dresses, so as soon as I got engaged, I was straight in there to book an appointment. When I did, I was met by Julia and meeting her made me fall in love with FDB even more, she is an incredible woman.My first appointment was amazing, all the dresses are perfection. However, the second dress I tried was particularly special, I had ‘the moment’. I still went to my other booked appointments, but no shop compared to FDB and I went back to say ‘yes to the dress’.Through my appointments Julia and Emma managed most of them and made so much effort to make sure the whole journey was seamless, and nothing was ever too much. Jenny, the seamstress also came in for the alteration appointments and each time we went in, the dress was getting better and better, she works absolute magic. We did have a last-minute tweak that needed to be made but Emma and Jenny handled this fabulously, made me feel at ease and confident knowing they would have it 100% perfect, and it was!On the wedding day, I felt insane in my dress, it was beyond my wildest dreams and I am completely obsessed with it. I only wish I could wear it all the time!Not only is FDB a bridal shop, but it is a little family, and they make you feel so included in that. We created amazing memories through the journey, having such a laugh, it is a very special experience. I am so lucky to have had the chance to be an FDB bride.I can’t thank you all enough!

Frances Day are the perfect bridal shop. Their weddings dress ranges and excellent customer service is another level. I will miss going for dress fittings with Julia and her fantastic team. Thank you for helping me choose the Jenny Packham dress of my dreams and being so easy to deal with! :)
