I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Guy at Snippersgate 88. Having found a Lotus Elise 111S on their site a couple of weeks ago, I had been communicating with him re. both the purchase of the car and also part-exchanging my old vehicle. The process was as smooth as I could have hoped for - the offer on my car was extremely reasonable and the communication was very responsive.When we arrived at the showroom all social-distancing was strictly adhered to. Guy was very knowledgeable and there was no pressure to purchase the car, even though I had driven a considerable distance to look at it. Once I was happy with proceeding with the purchase the process was very quick and I was able to drive the car home within a very short space of time.I am very happy with the car so far - the bodywork and interior are both in superb condition for the age of the vehicle and I look forward to driving it when the warmer weather settles in. I recently purchased a lovely mx-5 from snippersgate. On inspection of the car I saw a small dent and Ed said he would have it repaired before collection which he did! Ed was really relaxed and no pressure for a sale of the car, giving me a lot of time to look over the vehicle before purchase. Thank you Ed.

Given their reputation and the decades over which they’ve successfully established their brand, I thus felt very confident in being able to trust their description of the vehicle and close a deal over the phone. Upon arrival (6 hour drive), vehicle was immaculate, their valuation of my vehicle was very strong and in under an hour was able to drive back in my new forever car. Absolute gentlemen, honest and upfront from beginning to end, a pleasant experience throughout. Can't recommend these guys enough!Came in a few months ago to test drive a Toyota GT86 and the salesman couldn't do enough. He was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.Although I didn't buy the car in the end I felt the need to commend them on there help.

From the start, great customer service. Bought a Mk1 Focus RS as an investment future classic from Guy and he answered all the questions I had including inspecting the cam belt and carrying out an oil service prior to collection. I travelled 350 miles to collect this car from Guy and was not disappointed. They had a great selection of other sporty and executive cars. Would look to buy from them again including the long drive if and when I decide to change my other car, an ML63!

Phoned today to come and see a car arranged to arrive at 14.00.Sales man totally uninterested car still in covered garage despite arranging to view at 2 o’clock . Salesman then started to say you can’t test drive until you’re in a position to buy.Unsure if I had to show a bank balance before he became interested,Worst salesman I have ever came across, would suggest you give garage a wide berth.Most disappointed and annoyed of being treated like a peasant, even though I was willing to spend 30 K todayWOW just WOWJust read your reviews over last few years and numerous reviews all saying the sameRude salesmanUnable to view the carHave to almost buy before you can even look at the car.Strongly Sui your rude salesman be sacked or sent to another dear ship and see how you should treat people.By the way I easily spent my 32k at another garage and purchased the SLC amg I was wanting. Also was treated with respect and great customer service, which is something you don’t offer.Thanks for your response, I can understand you may have time wasters etc.But you need to understand your salesman was not at all interested ( so much so my wife felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave she never even went near the car all down to one thing).Your salesman’s attitude uninterested and basically very rude, as previously stated he made myself and my wife feel like peasants.If he bothered to even look at the car we arrived in ( a brand new Audi A3 ) this should have been an indication that we were not peasants but genuine customers.He didn’t even ask about how I was going to fund purchase trade in finance etc etc the fact I was going to pay outright even on the day if I was satisfied with the car.Again I must state that I have bought a new SLC 3.0 V6 43 AMG from another dealer who were very professional unlike yourselfs.Again strongly advise your salesman be re trained or sacked as your business will not survive with this kind of attitude and behaviour.

These bunch of con men left me 7 thousands pounds out of pocket. when I had to try and sell the crashed damaged unrecorded piece of junk what cost me 20 thousand pounds off them no body would touch it, all reputable garages had said I had been ripped off so in the end I had to sell it to we buy any car .After numerous calls to the garage guy the spineless salesman and Co owner did not once make the effort to call us back,I have put it down to experience and jus hope alot of you buyers out there please stay away from these bandits they sell ringers

After a lot of shopping around I recently purchased a Merc GLC coupe from Snippersgate. I was struck by the quality of cars in the showroom mostly with low miles. Ed was upfront, very friendly and knowledgeable. There was no pressure from him. Earlier that day I'd been to a merc main dealer where the experience was reasonable, the usual!!!!. Ive since had an issue with the start/stop. Guy arranged to have the car put on a diagnostic on a day that suited me. As there was no obvious faults he kindly replaced the battery while I was there and was very detailed in his explanations. An absolute pleasure buying from this company they are clearly car enthusiasts Great experience, can't praise them enough. I will look to Snippergate for future purchases.
