Pins&Needles always give me good advice on what I need - I've gone from beginner knitter to making an adult jumper, and their moral support (!) and technical advice is really helpful. They're also super-encouraging to children and don't oversell anything I don't need. Totally better than online shops and I'm grateful to have such a good a local craft shop.

Fabulous shop for all your knitting, crocheting & sewing needs. The staff are always friendly & are so knowledgeable that you can ask them for tips & any troubleshooting without feeling silly. I attended their learn to crochet classes & it was a fun experience with Wendy guiding us gently through the process. They are well worth supporting & are a locally-owned business.

This wonderful shop contains everything you need for your sewing projects and the staff are so helpful to the novice sewer.Incredibly, they taught me how to crotchet one Saturday morning with a cuppa ☕️

Lovely staff and great shop for picking up all sorts of crafting bits. I especially love the layout of the wool by ply, making finding something for a project quick and easy. Also I really enjoy the locally handcrafted wooden crochet hooks that come into the store, comfy to use and make great presents for my crafty relatives!

Wendy, Georgie and Helen are so helpful; nothing is too much trouble and the shop offers such a wide variety of items for knitting, crochet, sewing and more. I love the workshops that they run and host for others too. Lots of crafts I'd like to try like needle felting and I'd love to learn how to crochet having been a knitter all my life. I love running my own silver jewellery workshops at the venue which are very popular too.

Lovely well stocked shop staff are always friendly and super knowledgeable and always happy to help with any questions however big or small. Their help enabled me to find an amazing lady to help sew my daughter's pointe shoes. Such a wonderful shop to have locally.

I attended the crochet class which was run by a lovely lady called Wendy.I really enjoyed it, Wendy was very patient and helpful as we were all pretty much beginners.Hook and wool was provided and Wendy explained a pattern which consisted of few different stitches to make a granny square.The 2 hours we were there absolutely flew and I can't wait to continue onto the next classes!Thank you!!

Wonderful well stocked shop. I've been to a sewing course here and made a little zipped bag which I love. Jude was so knowledgeable and patient and is willing to teach anything you want to learn! I know they are expanding and teaching lots of other interesting courses which I intend to explore. Really lovely helpful staff and a real treasure trove!
