AVOID!!!!My mother bought a car here February 2022. In 18 months its required new brake pads, new gearbox and now a new engine. If these cars are truly AA inspected as these con artists claim the car would not be in such a state. Also be warned whilst they say you have 1 year warranty they will only pay upto £250 towards repairs. If your car repairs cost over that amount YOU will have to pay the rest so the warranty is not really worth the paper it's written on.Avoid these scum at all costs!!!

Best car dealer ever and they always keep their promise if something goes wrong on the car they sold and they are very friendly

If you are looking to buy a second hand car, don't go to Chariots Of Romford. I bought one 3 months ago, and last week spent over £500 in repairs that should have been picked up in the dealers service and PDI inspection, before they put it on the forecourt for sale. It needs a further £1,400 of work done on it that they say the warranty does not cover!!! I just wish that I had taken the time to have the car looked overover by my garage at the time before I bought it, but I needed to get the car that day. The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.

Be carefull when buying car from them.. they are only friendly when you about to purchase the car making promises that everything is perfect with the car when it's not.. I bough my car from them couple months ago (5 months roughly), since day 1 I complained about my clutch that there is something wrong and it shouldn't be the way it is , apparently they have checked after going to them for few days and keep complaining , as they said they have done full check on my clutch and everything is fine, although I could smell they have sprayed something to make the noise go away, so here I am few months went by and my clutch broke down in the middle on the motorway. Imagine if I had kids in my car and what could of happened! I often drive around with kids as well I'm glad I was alone that time but even though I could of cause such a big accident and could of been someone's life taken away or even my own ! Have called them and they don't cover to fix it of course what was I thinking according to them clutch is perfectly fine!There is so much better services you can choose apart these guys..Would never ever go back to them again..

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.They are dodgy as it gets. Bought an Astra off them and then found out many problems as soon as it was 2 days after purchase. They did not give money back as they are required to do so legally and which theybsaid they will, instead they kept delaying when they had said they will pay me. Currently in legal proceedings to take them to court.

Called the dealership at 2pm today after seeing a car that I was interested in, wanted to make sure it was still for sale. Got there at 4.15pm after leaving work early. Not a single person approached me (was only 1 other customer in store) I had to find someone myself and ask to see the car I left work early for, just to be rudely told it has been sold within 2hours and then the gentlemen just walked off. No ine even asked if there was anything else i wanted to see. after seeing all the terrible reviews, I strongly feel that this was meant to happen, so I did not have to buy a dodgy car from really rude people. Thanks for the heads up everyone.

Just got my vauxhall mokka from there today.. absolutely lovely car, excellent condition... lovely place, everyone very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend

In 2021, when new cars were on a delay and I was waiting due to a backlog on my new car, I bought a Mazda 6 from Chariots as a ‘runaround’ for a good price, car never missed a beat and sold in on several months later not much less than what I paid.Role forward to June 2023, I went back to them for a Ford Ka for my youngest, bought a clean and decent car. Problem with the gearbox after a few days. Took it back, no quibble replaced the gearbox and also put a new clutch in ‘just in n case’ a fantastic gesture and why, although we have new cars, I’ll keep going back for the kids and recommend to others. Five stars Chariots!!!
