Black Barn Farm

We have visited for breakfast and brunch and were very pleased with the food and service. The staff are very friendly and the food plentiful, vegetarian breakfast and veggie sausages in a bap. No sign of anything burnt! It's good to have a pop-in venue in the area. Good also to browse the deli and shops downstairs.

Went for breakfast, waited a very long time considering it wasn't particularly busy.When it came it was disappointing, eggs hard, black pudding had been broken down into a crumb rather than sliced and was crunchy and absolutely nothing was hot.Was replaced fairly quickly, but when a fresh one arrived, there was no black pudding, the bacon was an embarrassment to meat, the fried bread was so over done it was like plaster board, the lady (didn't get her name, but was wearing a suit so I assume she was a manager) was very apologetic, gave us a refund and dealt with it all without fuss.2 stars because the coffee, although cold by the time the food came out, was a very very good cup of coffee!
