We visited this place because we were taking the river tour and the tickets are sold inside the cafe.While waiting for our boat to get ready, we had coffee and snacks.It's an excellent place to chill out. The coffee was great.

Really enjoyed this place. Great view to the river, comfortable sofa! Super nice and friendly staff! Stopped here to chill after exploring Canterbury. Would come back.

Been here for a short break after a walk through Canterbury.We loved the cake, coffee and ambient. Very friendly staff and good music.Dod friendly. Our dog Kira liked the milk!Great place to rest for a while.

An amazingly unique experience with personable and varied character of staff!I've had the opportunity to do two treks in less than a year with the Mooring team. Each one uniquely different but simultaneously fun, relaxing, and informative. What a way to see and learn more about Canterbury than up and down the Stour River!The cafe is the real added bonus, a hidden gem with great coffees, cakes, and cocktails (you can even take drinks on the boat). Ran by friendly and engaging staff (shout out to Mike, Louise, and Bradley)!

Having lived in Canterbury for a long time but not really taking the opportunity to see the sights we went on one of the punting tours, Luca and Laine were absolutely amazing, informative, funny and relaxing. They took great care of us and the tour was incredibleThe experience has made us want to go back for their upcoming Halloween tours and dnd nights in the cafe!Honestly cannot wait to go back

THE place for a sundowner Friday and Saturday evening. Relaxed location to enjoy some drinks by the river with friendly people behind the bar. A big plus: very dog friendly.

I hate to leave a negative review of a company, but when we visited this bar while travelling with some girl-friends, we felt a bit uncomfortable with way in which the men behind the bar were approaching us. We left feeling like they were blurring the lines of professionalism and worried they may be like this with most of the other girls who come in.Other than the staffing issue, I thought the venue itself is gorgeous, and very cosy - just a shame about the people who ran the bar that evening…Hoping if we ever revisited Canterbury that there would be more of a balance between male and female staff as it can be intimidating coming to a small venue that’s just run by guys.

Really nice coffee i have to say. The team here are also the punters for the punt boats. Really good staff and up for a chat. The cafe has some really nice old furnishing features ie old gramophone and pianoThere is oAlso a nice little balcony with a sofa to look out on the punts that are passing you by. Well worth the coffee as well

Just an absolute marvellous place to stop by for a coffee, some breakfast or lunch.You can get yourself a small boat or just enjoy the view from the large terrace.
