An excellent morning with a tour of the red arrows including a small lunchtime display and photos with the pilots. Very welcoming and informative, our scouts had a fantastic and very enjoyable day, thanks.

So proud of our RAF, I want to say thankyou for all the hard work you all do to keep us safe. Scampton is an amazing air base and its history. I hope that the government realises the importance of all our air bases. They are not just a necessity, but an important part of our heritage and history. I used to be an air cadet and I loved every moment, from learning etiquette to flying chipmunks and gliders. I was going to join the air force but married. Looking back, the air force would have been the better choice. Ha ha. X

Saturday display was top notch. Arrived by coach at 09.30 and spent the next hour going around in circles until traffic control decided where our coach (and about twenty others) could park. Got us off to a bad start but enjoyed the rest of the day.

This raf scampton is VERY IMPORTANT . The history it has , dambusters , guy gibson , cold war vulcans , red arrows , it could be made to hold air shows and be a museum to ww2 and cold war jets KEEP IT SAFE AND AS A AIR BASE.

What a visit, Colin and Dave were our guides and were great knowledgable guys. Seeing the Red Arrows was something else too.Listening to the 617 history, pictures and displays relating to those crews certainly made us realise what we owe to them. Emmotional at times. Pleased to see history has not been re-written with regard to Guy Gibsons dogs name on his stone memorial.We will return without a doubt and would hope others will visit RAF Scampton. We would recomend a visit to RAF Coningsby too.

Love watching these guys the skill they have and sound when fly over omg its amazing. Very proud of them in flying for are country.We got to see these at family day at air base. For these guys flew so low was crazy but such a big experience if seen them before but this time was my favourite in seeing them. Pure speed of them flying over and infront was greatest buzz and feeling we was so lucky to see them like we had. Its a day you would never forget if you had chance like us and few other people that stood near run way.

We had a great visit to the heritage museum at RAF Scampton. It was terrific to see the historic hanger, offices and meeting rooms. The tour and stories kept my two boys captivated for nearly three hours. Includes the chance to sit in a red arrow cockpit and to see the planes themselves (at a distance). Book two weeks in advance.

Free show twice in 1 day.We were at the Poacher Scout jamboree at the showground and the Red Arrows practised twice in 1 day for 2 airshows they were attending. So we got 2 free shows of fantastic aerobatics.
