Terrible experience! I applied for a UK visa and paid €110 application fee. It turns out that I need to pay another 250 euros just for the appointment. Of course, I canceled the application and asked for a refund. But I haven't been able to get a refund for over 3 months and I can't even contact them. They don't have a working contact phone number. What a shame.

You must book an appointment via the online booking system for Consular services. ADD AN EXTRA 30 MINUTES TO YOU JOURNEY TIME FOR PARKING OR YOU'LL BE LATE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. My visit was for document certification.The Embassy and Consulate share the same building but have different entrances; the Embassy entrance is in Lange Voorhout but the Consular entrance is in Kleine Kazernestraat. This latter location was where I needed to be.At entry, you're greeted by security and checks are equivalent to that at an airport. Once inside the atmosphere is restful which is good, as the reason for visiting this place by some people, may be stressful.The service I received was excellent.Thanks to my booking, the reason for my visit was known and the staff were well prepared to help. Where I had questions, they were answered quickly and clearly, and the entire visit required less than 20 minutes to complete.

What an abysmal Visa service! 115 pounds for Visa fees + 250 euros for The Hague for using this Premium location" . Can't apply to the standard location in Amsterdam - as they have limited availability. Pretty disgusting that this is the only realistic option in the Netherlands. It's super wierd that they have such limited service

Can't thank the consulate enough. They answered all phone calls and turned around emergency travel docs in double quick time when we had our passports stolen in Amsterdam.Brilliant service in what was turning into a nightmare weekend break away. They were sympathetic, advised what to do. It all turned out OK in the end. (Easyjet on the other hand.......)

So I see the embassy employees got busy and started reviewing the embassy services with 5 stars. People don’t be fooled. The low ratings are the correct criteria here. When I worked there I pointed out how bad the reviews were and at that time ALL the reviews were bad, so I guess they decided it was time to upgrade themselves. Truth remains, this is en embassy who cares nothing about the folks who go there for their documents. As far as refunds… sorry never heard of them

They don’t even deserve half a star rating! Terrible service! You can never get hold of them, and if you do they charge you for everything! It’s all about the money they getting, not about helping people visit their beautiful country! They had my passport forever and their tracking for your passport is all wrong. They don’t read the documents you send them with critical information they would need to approve your visa. It’s such a pity that they are like this! It really degrades the idea of going to visit such a place like the UK but after my experience with the visa agency I have lost all interest in visiting it and would rather spend my money on visiting other European countries.

I cannot praise the service we received here recently enough. After a disastrous start to our trip the team here worked above and beyond to get us emergency travel documents to be able to travel home in time for Christmas. It was refreshing to deal with such lovely people who wanted to get the job done. Thank you!!

Like many here, I cannot get through to speak to anyone during office hours. I'm only glad my situation is not an emergency. I would have more success talking to a brick wall, because at least that doesn't charge you for the privilege of being ignored.

While I agree with some of the feedback around the call line as it is a bit frustrating to navigate. Nonetheless I found the services for an emergency passport very helpful and expedient during a stressful time. Very thankful for the dedicated time and effort of all the employees

Lost me passport let them know same day I was flying home it was all sorted and ready for me before 1 o’clock in afternoon. Only let them know 4 hours before. Mega service 10/10
