Well what can I say... They say that moving house is one of the most stressful times of your life along with getting married etc etc ..my mum is 83 years old and decided that she would move back up north where she was born, I can honestly say I wasn't looking forward to this one bit! Andrew and the Team were amazing and the guys 'Dennis and Dave' who did the removal were, in my mum's words, 'absolutely marvellous'! They were brilliant from start to finish, it took two days in total as it was a big house and lengthy drive, they took great care and pride in their work and we would highly recommend them - it went without a hitch and my mum is so settled and pleased. Thank you thank you thank you. Communication 5* Punctuality 5*. Value 5*. Service 5*. All in all a 5* Company, cannot fault them at all - don't waste your time hunting around for the best price and best place ... it's here, you won't be disappointed!Thanks again from Anji & Pam xx

I would have no hesitation in recommending P Fahey & Sons.Vacating my family home, purchased in 1959, following my mother’s death was never going to be easy.Having acquired several quotes, I contacted Alice Fahey, whose compassion and professionalism was admirable. Uncertainty over when to arrange the move meant tentative dates came and went. This was never a problem.A courtesy call / visit prior to the removal day assured me I was in safe hands.A true family business, young Joe Fahey and Kareem, arrived on the day. Polite, professional and knowledgeable, they set about collating and packing the house contents for storage. An additional two colleagues joined them later, who too, were courteous and polite.I can only praise and thank the team. We have just moved in to our new home and can't recommend the team highly enough. They worked so hard and at speed both loading and unloading. We used the dismantling and reassembling option which was a godsend as that night all the beds and wardrobes were rebuilt and we didn't have to worry. Before the move the office team handled all queries we had about packing quickly and efficiently.They really did take the stress out of the move, especially as I couldn't help as I am recovering from ankle surgery.They turned up when they said they would and never stopped all day, even though we had four floors to move (cellar and loft). Throughout the whole two days they were unfailingly cheerful and a pleasure to be aroundThanks guys!

We were absolutely blown away by the customer service we experienced from everyone at Fahey’s, both in the weeks leading up to the move and on the two days of packing/moving themselves. Each and every member of the crew on our job was brilliant - courteous, helpful, super efficient and incredibly careful with our possessions. They took all of the stress out of the process and made everything run like clockwork. It was worth every penny and we would not hesitate to recommend them.
