Gas Monster have installed our CH boiler in 2020, and have been doing its annual servicing since. They always did a great job, and every time they've visited, the work was done efficiently, and the work area was left tidy and spotless. All interactions with their staff have been courteous, and efficient. Overall, a great company to work with!

Billy, James and Jack did a great job replacing our hot water tank and putting in a new thermostat. We are now enjoying many warm showers and being able to control the heating via a phone.Gas Monsters were really good at explaining the problems with our heating. Excellent price too. They cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.Will definitely use again.

Very professional - asked them to quote on a new combi boiler, some radiator issues, new stopcock, and new taps. Quick to respond, quoted in person the next day, discussed the likely cause & solutions to some heating issues, with agreed work scheduled & completed on time the following week. Tidy, punctual, and went the extra mile on the boiler swap to do a proper job in an awkward space. Happy to recommend.

Been a customer them for years. Easy online booking for annual services, and they turn up on time! Replaced our boiler during lockdown, all done nicely, also replaced a radiator on another occasion - very satisfied.

Had a yearly service done by gas monster since 2019. Recently had an issue with something leaking from the boiler and gas monster were quick with the response and also kept us informed throughout making sure that they knew that it was a long lasting fix than a patch. Highly recommend!

Disappointed with service overall. Not forthcoming with request for itemisation of price of parts, call out charge etc.Our initial query was we suspected a problem relating to the Diverter valve system. First visit 14th September engineer removed line strainer, second visit 21st September fitted Worcester system filter, eventually 27th September actuator to diverter valve replaced and that was on our request and never picked up as a fault the previous 2 visits even though we had stated we were concerned about it.Expensive compared to other local firms.

I couldn't be happier with the recent boiler installation from Wayne and the team! The team were incredibly professional, arriving promptly and completing the installation with exceptional skill. My home is now very warm. Highly recommend their services!

Why are you looking at this review rated poor? Are your intentions to decide whether to use this company? Do poor reviews provide any useful purpose? If your mind is already made up then despite seeing adverse reviews and hearing of the cheap estimate it still leads one to ask what harm can it do? Well I ignored such reviews and still went ahead and appointed GasMonster of Cottenham. Here are some questions you should consider based upon our truthful and factual experiences. Would you choose a company that despite the Trades description act and the WHICH code of conduct still sent an unqualified convicted burglar to our home? A company that was subsequently referred to the WHICH compliance unit for investigation? A company whose quality of work was described in an independent RISA report as “not of an acceptable standard”? A company that was ordered by the Furniture and Improvement Ombudsman in October 2023 to pay us compensation? If the answer is still yes, then wasn’t reading this review rather pointless? So buyer beware or “Caveat Emptor” after all it’s your decision and your money.
