Listers Volkswagen Van Centre Coventry

I have used listers for a number of years. Unfortunately they have got worse over time. I recently had my van serviced there along with MOT. Communication was poor. I had to chase them for updates. The van failed its MOT and getting a price off them to do the repairs was difficult and varied from what they said over the phone to what was on the paperwork. I always thought their pricing was reasonable, but not anymore. I needed two new tyres (exactly the same) and they gave a different price for each one ? Two new rear springs price given was different over the phone to on the paperwork. In the end I lost confidence in them and decided to take the van away and find someone else willing to do the required work. I assume they serviced the van ok. On a positive note they provide a courtesy van for a relatively small cost, free drinks whilst you wait and the staff were polite and courteous.

Very welcoming and friendly at Listers Coventry Van centre, staff incredibly knowledgeable, especially Jason, in sorting the problems I needed. Honest with their findings, with full video footage. Highly recommend this centre, will use again in the future.

I am a Disabled Driver and I have a specialist vehicle that I can visit for advice and service/maintenance contract. The standard of service given to me/ related is excellent. I even have a great one to one discussion with the man who has maintained my vehicle to a great high standards and a quick response to turn things around for me,so that I can continue to get from,A-B on a daily basis.

My first impressions was that this seemed a busy dealership and I might have a problem speaking to someone who could help meHow wrong I was and Daniel Moore a salesmen took me under his wing and showed me around the vehicle I was interested in and then a test drive.My experience was very pleasant and Dan went the extra mile to look after me and was rewarded with a saleI would not hesitate to recommend Listers of Coventry to anyone who was interested in purchasing a VolkswagenRay Taylor

Bought a VW Caravelle for just under £70,000 from listers Van Centre in CoventryNearly 3 years old with 18,000 miles on the clockWhen I went to view the van, it seemed in very good condition however when I got it home I could notice heavy stone chips on the front lower bumper and the engine was very dirty and there was no document wallet with the instructions on how to use the vanso the very next day I emailed them notifying of the issues and sent them picturesIn the replied email, I was told they do not valet the engine bay as it has electronics and was offered a touchup pen and was informed they will try to get me the documents and wallet after much too and throwing of emailsThat was nearly 2 months agoI was very disappointed with their after service, as I do not know a lot about vehicles tend to buy from a main dealer because you know or expect them Have the best cars this was supposed to be my dream car that I have been saving up for a while for it. I have given up on the dealership I would not buy from them again.

I recently purchased a Mercedes Vito from Listers Commercial in Coventry for nearly £50,000, and while the initial purchase experience was professional, the aftercare left much to be desired.What disappointed me most was the lack of transparency regarding a hidden tracker in the vehicle, which ended up draining my battery. Upon taking the vehicle to my local Mercedes dealer, they confirmed that the tracker was the culprit and provided evidence to Listers Commercial.Initially, Listers suggested I cover the repair costs and promised reimbursement. However, they later reneged on this commitment, claiming the repair costs were too high and insinuating that my local Mercedes dealer overcharged me.This inconsistency in their service and failure to honor their agreement has left me deeply dissatisfied. I'm now contemplating seeking legal advice on this matter.Buyers beware, and I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with Listers Commercial in Coventry, as my experience raises serious questions about their integrity and customer commitment

It was a bit of a mixed experience here. I booked my camper in for a factory recall. The job over ran to a second day which caused me some issues. A complimentary vehicle clean was more of a wipe over with a dirty rag and the complimentary top up of Adblue was spilt onto the paintwork. Lucky I spotted it and washed it off when I got home. On the plus side, the customer facing staff seemed to be trying very hard to provide a good service and Tino went out of his way to advise on some additional issues. I also signed up for a cost effective service plan.

I would personally avoid this dealership at all costs. Having had 4 brand new transporter kombi’s from them over the years seems to count for nothing. I reported engine warning lights today ( 28 September ) and was smugly told that the earliest they could look at my vehicle would be mid December! When questioned the service guy said they are stacked out with diagnostic work that I’d be better calling the RAC … well thank you Listers Van Centre, I will never ever step foot on your premises again and furthermore will make every effort to dissuade friends and associates from purchasing through yourselves. Shocking attitude and only interested in the initial sale and no interest in after sales whatsoever

spent £400 plus on service.Told them problem with water.They said it was fine.next day water pump fails on motorway.Called them they offered appointment in a month.When i called them the reception did not know what a principal was.You just could not make it up!!!!
