Homeleigh has a great bunch of people working there, and hats off to them for setting up social distancing without cramping the experience of buying there. I bought several heavy items, they gave me a delivery date 4 working days ahead and, as I went to leave, decided to buy some paint. Prices are very good, and the delivery cost was £3! Admittedly, my address is 5 miles away, but I got the impression they would deliver further out. For a little effort on my behalf to go out and buy rather than do it online, I reckon I saved £40. Cannot fault this company.

Fairly comprehensive range of stock for a small local shop. I can see me going there on a regular basis. Not sure whether they have any parking arrangements though which would be an issue if picking up large items.

An excellent local hardware store. The staff are friendly and will give genuinely useful advice. The woodshop have no problem cutting or planeing wood to size on request, even somewhat trivial orders.

Quite possibly the worst service I have ever had. I ordered timber from the Staplehurst branch.. The shiplap I ordered was the wrong stuff ... I phoned Holmleigh asking if they would pick it up on four occasions, each time they said they would phone back and never did. On the fifth occasion I was answered by a ver stroppy 'sales rep' who told me they would 'pick it where they picked it up'... they never did.. i ended up selling the timber for a quarter of its price rot make space in my garden. To top it off I emailed the head office and got no reply. The worst service I have ever had .

Great business I have used these for building materials for over 26 years and have always found them helpful and will always go that extra mile to help and fit in a delivery if they can, even if you have left it to the last minute, they will always try to help you out, very competitive prices and staff on site and delivery drivers will always help, even if you ask them to carry the timber to your car , not much else you can ask for from a business
