Withybush Hospital

The inside has a lot of building works going on so there are ceiling props and parts fenced off. This has resulted in several areas being closed off to the public.However, this didn't affect the service - the staff are very friendly and helpful. They're doing an amazing job given the circumstances.

My sister took me to the Emergency Department because I had been vomiting with severe back pain.The staff were fantastic in every way! Thanks xxx

Had a hand operation under GA on 25/10/23, in day surgery unit. Was very anxious and nervous, but all the staff was fantastic. From the time I got there 7.40am to the time I left 2.30pm the care was excellent, nurses, anaesthetists, surgeons were all very friendly and supportive, originally from the valleys, with experience of hospitals there, this is by far the best hospital I've been treated in.

I went to Accident and Emergency with difficulty breathing, and was wheezing and coughing. The care was kind, caring and extremely efficient. I saw a superb doctor who identified my bronchial condition and brought my medication to me during the consultation. I was seen and treated in an hour and a quarter. The treatment worked. Many thanks to you all.

A&E a complete joke waiting time up to 9 hours nasty unhelpful staff. Seems no organisation and little sympathy. Watched while people had cardiac arrests waiting fortriage.

Lovely visit today. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Reception staff were on the ball, asking anyone and everyone if they needed help. I have been to a few hospitals in my life but this one was exceptional. The place was clean, busy, but not chaotic like pph or morriston hosp. Well done you. But i hope i never see you again, thank you.you all.

Had a surprisingly pleasurable experience here from start to finish. Surprisingly in that no one wants to end up in a hospital but I have absolutely no complaints the staff here were super every single one and I met alot during my stay. I was in overnight seeing in two staff changeovers, during a busy period and they still gave me plenty of attention throughout my stay. I felt safe and supported by all members of staff from porters to hca's, nurses and senior doctors/radiologists. They were warm and friendly and gently humourous in a time where gloomy thoughts were close by - I could not swallow and could hardly breathe or turn my head and their calmness was infectious. The hospital was clean and tidy and the working atmosphere was palpably positive, I was seen quickly and efficiently and able to have a bed promptly as well as have a wash the following day. If only all hospitals could be more like a and e in Withybush. Sadly hospitals often suffer a bad rap but this a and e department deserves credit from the ground up.

First time at this hospital .I'm on holiday. lovely staff and friendly. checked in, had an X-ray, and had the results all in 2 hours

My son had a nasty fall whilst visiting family resulting in the breaking of 5+ bones in lower arm requiring surgery to insert plates etc. we cannot fault his care from triage to discharge via A&E, theatre and high dependency unit. The staff he/we encountered were superb, extremely professional and so friendly. Thank you to all involved in his care.

Wonderful clean hospital. All the staff are outstanding in every department. The Chemo Day Unit is excellent and very clean. The staff give patients first class care, treatment, etc... Nurse Specialist Tracey Thomas would do anything for anyone. The restaurant on the ground floor is clean and excellent food is served and prices are really good value.
