Had a gas cooker to install and it was done efficiently and the engineer was helpful and kind. One wee glitch was my oven had a fault, but thankfully I had that sorted quickly!

Nobody wants to spend money on a new boiler! However, Chris and Stevie made this as painless as possible with excellent workmanship and a professional service. We would highly recommend this company. We felt confident from the start that they were the right guys for the job and we were not disappointed. 5* from us!!

Chris came to our new house to investigate multiple issues with our hot water and heating systems. He was extremely knowledgeable and proficient at identifying the cause of various issues which he then rectified. Chris also modified our heating system controls to give us a huge amount of additional functionality which we are delighted with. I contacted Melville Whitson & Muir after reading the positive online reviews, was a great decision.They replied to my initial query promptly and within a matter of days visited my home to quote for the job. I needed them to rectify work carried out by another company and also carry out an annual service. A week later they arrived on time, completed the work within the promised time frame and tidied up before they left. The job was a little more labour intensive than originally thought and they had to get a second engineer to attend; however they honoured the agreed price which was already good value.They’ll be my first choice for any other work and also the annual service. I’ve already recommended them to my neighbour who’s looking for a new boiler.

Upgrade shower required. Kevin came out to assess the job and provided his quote promptly. The shower was fitted the following week. Excellent service again. I will certainly be using them again and would highly recommend.

Complete useless. 350 pounds three visits and they couldn't fix my boiler just made it worse. To were they came to service my boiler and left me with broken one. Before you consider this company think twice. # Job been carried out in Uphall I'm pretty sure you can find that in your records
