When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When In Glastonbury, try out a yurt!We had a lovely night of resting and connecting in the privacy of a yurt! It seems like the perfect way to upgrade from simply camping to getting a bog standard hotel room. The Yurt is protected from the elements, and has access to a brick and mortar toilet and shower block, as well as access to the house's kitchen. The beds are well stocked with clean sheets, blankets, pillows, and cushions, and the yurt has lighting and power outlets. There is plenty of space, more than you'd get in any tent, and is a comfortable area for meditation, relaxation, yoga, or whatever else you'd want to use the yurt for.The Tor is very easy to find from the sancturary, simply take the road ahead of the building and follow until you're forced to turn, taking a right to find yourself at the foot of the Tor.It's not as close to town or shops as other overnight locations are, but it makes it a nice quiet spot. This review reflects our experience of the yurt, we didn't use any other of the sanctuary features, and were accidentally excluded from the kitchen.

Healing Waters is a welcoming, homely self catering place to stay that's in walking distance to Glastonbury shopping centre.I usually stay in the same room that overlooks the beautiful garden and then there is the deck on the opposite side of the house where I like to sit looking out onto the surrounding fields.Healing waters offers the best of both worlds - space for solitude as well as meeting fellow guests from the UK and around the world.

The accommodation is clean, warm and comfortable. There is limited off road parking and the approach to the house is via a set of long paved stairs which are unlit at night until you get to the front door, so be careful there.Inside, the house has a calm energy, beautiful views and the administration in the lead up to my visit was very good. The vibe is very relaxed and breakfast is a help yourself arrangement of cereals and hot beverages - don't expect a hosted breakfast!I'd definitely consider staying there again.

I have been offering my spiritual awakening retreats at Healing Waters since 2010.The venue is always spotlessly clean and perfect for a group. The position is ideal with unparalleled views over the Avalon Plain and clear views of the Tor.Equally, it is a pleasant 20 minute walk into the centre of Glastonbury to take advantage of the cafes, eateries and shops.Returning to Healing Waters each year always feels like a homecoming. You won’t be disappointed.

The backyard view can not be beat! It’s gorgeous. However there are no healing waters on the property which is extremely misleading and why I booked the place to begin with. You can’t even walk to a water source that’s on the property so no idea what is up with the name. Please understand this is shared space with no privacy in the house so if you happen to be sharing space with a very sick person coughing all over everything then you’re at risk to get sick as well, which is unfortunately what happened with my stay and why I had to leave and pay for accommodation elsewhere with no refund. I was offered a room in the owners personal house but after that experience I did not feel comfortable staying in anyone else’s home since I had to pass a covid test to make it home or be denied return to my country. I also missed out on the workshop I flew 7 hours to attend because of being exposed to a sick person. This of course could have been prevented by asking guest to cancel if they are sick however since you must prepay (redflag) And it’s quite expensive for shared space, I doubt anyone would fess up to being sick anyway. The lack of care or concern for this situation was alarming. The owner did not address the sick person but instead pointed out that I knew it was shared space, and there are no refunds. It was also scary to me to listen to a man cough for 3 hours straight with all signs of being very sick and contagious (he said he didn’t know if it was a cold, the flu, or Covid) and they had a group arriving the next day to rent the house for the weekend -the sick man was still staying for a day while they would be there! The house was very expensive to rent- did they warn the people arriving? If you are with a whole group renting the place out and you know every one this will work for you. If you are a solo traveler book elsewhere -there are cheaper, nicer, and more private options. I ended up staying at the Premier Inn and it was cheaper than my booking here. Again, this is a very expensive option for what is offered with no refunds so be warned!

Great place to stay when discovering Glastonbury and surroundings. Communication after booking could be smoother, service upon arrival is perfect. We had a lovely stay over there with a group of 18. Enjoyable breakfast with 'Tor view'.

I have stayed at Healing Waters, in the peaceful location of Roman Way, several times now to attend workshops and enjoy the many delights of Glastonbury which is within a short walking distance. The rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable & the back ones have stunning views over the Somerset levels and of the Glastonbury Tor.There's always a good selection of fruit, cereals, teas, breads, eggs, etc for self- service breakfast. And the gardens are delightful to sit out in. I highly recommend it as a delightful retreat.

I always love to stay at Healing Waters. The energy here is pristine, and the view across the levels to the Tor is pure bliss in the morning. This is an amazing place to meditate as it is so peaceful.

Healing waters is the most peaceful, tranquil, relaxing place I have ever stayed at in Glastonbury since visiting over the last 18 years. The beautiful gardens and stunning views just add to the serenity of whole experience, whilst Sue is always on hand to make sure you are comfortable and well stocked for breakfast.Seeing the deer from the window added that extra special bit of magic and I am looking forward to being back there very soon, hopefully for much longer.Juliet really has created a unique and exquisite sanctuary! Thank you x

Healing Waters Sanctuary
Such a Beautiful and Peaceful Place with spacious and comfortable rooms with open views unto the Avalon valley. The community gardens offer organic fresh vegetables in all seasons and I appreciated their quality and freshness daily. The host Juliet is kind hearted and generous when sharing her wisdom and knowledge. She is highly qualified as a Trauma healer and a therapist too. If you are looking for a retreat away from the buzz of city life or just a place to Be, then this is the ideal place. I highly recommend Healing Waters Sanctuary.
