My first experience here with Jess was amazing, and very comfortable. She listened to everything I said I wanted for my hair and provided me with exactly what I was looking for. The attention to detail was lovely, from tea and biscuits, to taking care and time to give me the best hair and experience possible. I have curly hair and this cut has done wonders for my curls ! Thank you so much Jess ! <3

I have just had the loveliest visit here. Jess was so attentive and listened to what I really wanted. I think I have one or two visits left until my hair is perfect but I’m thrilled with how it’s looking already! Bonus of the yummiest coffee, cake and Prosecco whilst being away from my children - bliss! And all within a beautiful salon! Would recommend to everyone!

I have had my hair done with Jess since she opened hair@51. She has always made me feel really comfortable and given me great advise on my hair. Jess is amazing at looking after me and making me feel special whenever i visit the shop and i always leave with a smile on my face after having my hair coloured and cut with her. This will be where i go to get my hair cut from now on as i feel like they look after me and are very talented and i have a great overall experience.

Kate restyled my hair and gave me the most amazing look. I am absolutely in love with my fringe and style of my hair. Kate was friendly and was very professional. Definitely recommend Hair @ 51!

This is Kate and Jess's business which they have worked so hard to make a success. They always greet you with a friendly smile and always make you feel welcome ( you even get a free glass of prosecco thrown in sometimes). They really do know how to look after you, why else would I travel 80 miles for a haircut?

Had a full head of highlights, cut and blow dry with Kate today and so happy with the results. Both the cut and colour have been executed with precision. You can definitely tell that this is a lady who has perfected her skill to a T! I also had a great laugh with her so overall a fantastic experience. Jess who works here too is also really nice. Would recommend this salon to everyone!

Absolutely love getting my hair done by Jess! She’s great at listening to what you want and making it a reality. Had a pretty big transformation from dark to blonde. Every time I’ve been it’s so much fun. Love my hair, couldn’t be happier. Thanks Jess :)

My husband and I have been regularly having our hair cut by Jess for the past 6 years - a testament to how comfortable we are made to feel and how much we appreciate and rate the hair cutting and styling services that Jess provides. Even more compelling is that my little one will now only get her hair cut by Jess and nobody else. Highly recommend this salon <3.
