My family would like to thank David for the wonderful service he performed for my mother Marion MacKenzie who sadly passed away in July 2023.David was recommended by the funeral director, and he spent time with us collecting the stories and memories we wished to be included in the celebration of her life.David is a lovely guy and has a very caring and calming personality that made us confident he was going to give my mum the send-off she deserved.Would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best for their loved one.Many thanks again David - Martin MacKenzie & Family.

I cannot recommend the services of David highly enough. He really helped celebrate the life of my late brother in a very heart warming but dignified manner. So many in attendance commented on how good the service was. Many thanks David and many thanks Kerry for the smooth handling of the admin side.

David is an amazing Celebrant. He comes across as if he was a close friend of the deceased and is a fantastic orator. Communication from David and Kerry was fantastic and they were very collaborative with the speech and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

David was recommended to us by Mark Porteous funeral directors when my husband and his brothers lost their Mum Irene. He visited us to get an idea of who Irene was and listened with great interest to the stories that were remembered. The service he conducted at the funeral was wonderful and completely captured the essence of Irene. He brought so much comfort to us all. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

David (and Kerry) Simpson was the Celebrant at our uncles funeral. From our first meeting he put the family at ease with his warm and friendly manor. It was good to see him at the crematorium where he was there to greet us. It was a lovely touch to include the younger members of the family in the service. David impressed many family and friends. He kept in contact through emails , sending the eulogy to allow us to make any amendments.We would never hesitate to recommend David to anyone.

David is the most easy going man and a delight to talk to. The service he carried out for Colin was amazing. There was a huge turnout and each and everyone of the mourners commented on how heartfelt and moving Colins service had been. The family owe David a huge debt of gratitude for all his hard work and patience when compiling the eulogy.

David Simpson was just who/what we needed. His eulogy was spot on, his delivery was eloquent, well paced and respectful. Communication was excellent. He attended the family home to get all details/stories, he was relaxed, approachable and respectful. Kerry emailed a copy of the proposed eulogy which was just so right for my grampa, we requested two minor changes which was done easily with no hassle and a revised copy was emailed for approval. I am very grateful to David (and Kerry). I recommend David highly and I would absolutely look to book him again when the sad time occurs.

Working with David was a very easy experience. He worked in a simple open honest manner and shared his experience and understanding which made the whole process extremely easy for us all.His delivery of the service on the day was first class..everyone present commented on how well he performed his role. David conducted a graveside ceremony in Currie Cemetery in honour of my late mother in July 2023. It was beautifully written and impeccably presented on the day.After only one meeting with David, where he took time to get to know my family and to learn all about my mother, he sent us through a draft writing. It was really well written and David perfectly managed to capture the essence on my mother, which was most impressive considering he had never even met her.David is a pleasant person to deal with and has a warm and welcoming manner. The tone of his voice is lovely, which makes him perfect for such personal readings.As a family we would highly recommend David to anyone considering using a celebrant for a funeral.Extremely professional, very prompt and all round nice guy.
