After a nice day out we decided to have a Chinese takeaway. Our usual Chinese was closed so we decided on this place. Not only did Google say this place was open but their very own website also stated that they were open. We walked down in the evening to fined that Kings was actually closed! Thankfully Deliveroo and the Oriental Kitchen saved our bacon but unfortunately due to how incredibly busy they were we had dinner very late which was far from ideal on a children's school night. I would highly recommend the Oriental Kitchen, the staff were brilliant, food was good, and it was a lot cheaper than Kings even with added delivery! Ocean City are also top notch(our usual). This place is over priced, the food is mediocre, and judging by last night it doesn't appear to be a very well run business either.

We had a staple in the food last time and now a pice of wire wool which got stuck in my throat. First time an accident but twice is shocking! Picture to prove it if required.

The three items ordered were tasteless and expensive. It took more than an hour and a quarter for delivery.The food was lukewarm. An expensive mistake, not to be repeated.To add insult to injury, it cost 80p extra to pay on a card.

Unfortunately this meal was very poor! Food not hot, left the prawns to go to the bin for fear of being unwell the day after! Tasteless chicken, egg fried rice more aptly named rice topped with omelette, prawn crackers soft, basic! May as well have put £40 down the drain literally.Always disappointed with Chinese, never value for money and Plymouth lacks a remotely good chinese takeaway! This place has really reminded me tonight why we don't order Chinese !If we are ill tomorrow we know where to send environmental health! Enough said.

I ordered a special fried rice it came smothered in barbecue sauce when I called to say you have given me the wrong order. they said this is how it comes . I have had this dish so many times from all over, never has a special fried rice come smothered in barbecue sauce. So kings said they will change it if I take it back to the shop. I have paid delivery!I explained that I’m on a 12hour shift and I can’t leave. Sat here hungry and £15 down.NO WHERE ON YOUR MENU DOES IT SAY YOU PUT A LOAD OF BBQ SAUCE ON A SPECIAL FRIED RICE!!!

EDIT: IN RESPONSE TO THE RESTAURANTS RESPONSE. you did not try to reach a solution you tried to charge me for your mistake. I have ordered from you before and there were no beansprouts and spring onions last time, why were they added this time. This NEEDS to be stated in the bio of the product when ordering due to ALLERGENS. This will be reported to EHO and the appropriate food governing authorities due to your lack of understanding and care in this potentially very hazardous situation.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------terrible customer service. ordered online for delivery including plain soft noodles due to dietary requirements (their menu doesn't state there are beansprouts and spring onions etc in these) food arrived in a timely manner, however my noodles came with beansprouts, spring onions etc. phoned restaurant to let them know their error, however I was told this was my fault. I asked for a refund or exchange and was told I wasn't getting a refund, I could walk to the store in the next 30 mins for an exchange. I told them this simply wasn't possible - I suffer with a bad back and hip, so as it was their mistake, they should be correcting this, perhaps sending a delivery driver with the replacement and I could exchange at the doorstep, to which I was told they would charge me for this. for their mistake. they also claimed there was no way there were beansprouts in this dish (I will attach a photo if possible as proof). because of their refusal to rectify their mistake fairly I am led to leave this review. the woman on the phone was quite aggressively telling me it was my fault, which is quite concerning, considering I certainly didn't write their menu and omit allergen info.
