National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

I ordered some tyres online and took my new alloys and spacers and got them fitted and aligned. Was in and out in a hour lovely stuff. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Can't fault it, cheers

Recomended 10/10Can't fault it amazing staff and knowledgeable technicians took my car in today for a noise in front end and turnd out to be loose bolts that wasn't done properly by other garages done the diag on it and fixed all for free so just wanted to thank them by a little review.

Went in to get 2 new front tyres, the lady on reception was really helpful & . Wasn't waiting very long for them to do

Just had 4 tyres fitted here which cost me nearly 600£ and for my dissapointment all the alloys have visible marks on them related to the tool used to fit the tyres on. It literally looks like the tyre removing tool has been rubbed throughout every single alloy. Upon reporting this to one of the staff members, I been promised a bit of a discount for the inconvenience" and he acknowledged damage on one alloy

Called on a Saturday morning for a price for a single budget tyre including fitting and was told a price straight away, I was told that there was no appointments for that day, fair enough. The receptionist didn’t offer me another day during the week just said okay and the call ended. I rang back and booked in for the Monday and she said “that’s all 4 tyres“ No it’s just one as mentioned before. I turn up 20 minutes early for the appointment, go inside and they say have you got the locking wheel nut, I replied no you don’t need it other garages haven’t asked for it (the tyre in question doesn’t have a security nut in as it has snapped) so they just turned me away. I ring back and ask if they have any spare locking wheel nuts as most garages I have been to do. They said they can’t take the tyre off as they will break their own tools. Baring In mind through this they have not even looked at the car or wheel. I then get my partner to call up after travelling home to explain the same thing and surprise surprise when a male calls they couldn’t apologise enough and say if I go back they’ll sort it. I take it back and low and behold they can take the wheel straight off with an impact driver. Shame they had to be told 3 times. I was told the reason they didn’t look at the car in the first place was due to them being busy! I was the only one in the waiting room and there was only one other car in the workshop. Then when it comes to pay the give me a totally different price to what has been quoted because he “looked at what it used to be not what it is”. Repairing cars or even running them for that fact is not cheap and these clowns can’t be bothered to check something that has been told to them 3 times. So much for their posters that say they’ll do their best to keep you as a customer. Absolute joke and will not be using them again.

Couldn't fault the service I received today. Quick with my car (M.O.T) freindly staff to deal with. I would happily use this garage again.(My M.O.T was through the Halfords premium motoring club)

Rang to enquire about wheel alignment and spoke with Grant. With it being late afternoon expected an appointment later in week but he said availability there and then. 10minute later on the ramp. Digital screen in reception showed the adjustments being made.Good team there it seems. Very good service .
