Go here every Friday as the specials start when I finish, 11.30am. Price wise, you’re looking at roughly £7-£8 which is perfectly acceptable for the quantity and quality of what you get. The food is well presented but more importantly unbelievably delicious. It does get very busy so pre ordering is definitely recommended. Only criticism is I’d like it to open Saturdays too but honestly can’t complain though, best deli/takeout in Gateshead by far.

I visited here today with my 2 friends. My only criticisms are that, there is a bit of a wait for food. My friends waited nearly 30 minutes for there orders (today's special) and the food was very salty in some small places. Despite that the food is very tasty and reasonably priced.

I would highly recommend visiting La Cucina Lounge Deli. Just tried the new Breakfast Burger and was fantastic. Great customer service, the staff are brilliant. Will definitely be visiting again!

Me and my friend visited earlier, served by lady with long dark hair- wouldn’t bother trying to be served by her unless you’re a male. Created a bad atmosphere by the way she speaks to staff in front of customers is very unprofessional, as a manager myself I believe treat your staff with respect and they will do great work for you. Other than that food was really nice !

I was advised to order ahead as it gets busy. Really nice decor. No sign of white unwelcoming cladding. My Dad and I had the Chinese much box which included salt, pepper, chilli chips and chicken. Noodles and 2 mini crispy spring rolls covered in not too much curry sauce. Hoping it tasted as good as it looks and we were not disappointed! For £10 a carton it was enough for 2 meals. I would encourage any contractors working away to come here as there’s enough for dinner and then something in the evening. Staff very friending and obviously great chefs in the kitchen. Definitely going back!

Food is delicious but very disappointing that the only day they’re open late (Friday), all they do is chicken tikka masala for their special. Never change it up to allow those who can’t get there before 3pm on the other days of the week to enjoy any of the other specials they offer, which look unreal! Either needs to be open later every day, or definitely needs a change of special on a Friday. I’m not saying every time but every so often would be nice to give others a chance!

Amazing! First time visit based off a recommendation. Spoilt for choice with amazing sweet and savoury options. I ended up having a Chicken Shawarma with Sweet Potato Fries. Absolutely delicious!Since then, I've discovered that LaCucina frequently change their options with daily specials. Today, Bao buns with sweet chilli chicken and salt and pepper fries. If I wasn't on holiday, I'd be straight back for more.I'll be visiting LaCucina's whenever I'm passing thr Team Valley.
