Priory Close Practice

I rang with an emergency for my cat and they got us in straight away.Unfortunately our fluffy Freind had to be put to sleep.They we’re all very considerate and caring towards my cat.I wouldn’t go anywhere else with my animals.

I lost my dog of 16 years yesterday and im devastated but I rang these guys early yesterday morning having never visited them before and they saw us straight away and put Muttley to sleep later in the day. I am so so thankful for the compassion, understanding and respect they gave us throughout. You made a horrible day that little bit easier. Thank you.

Amazing! We have been coming here for 19yrs, they're wonderful especially in emergencies.. the owner is fantastic at calming my small anxious dog that needs medication to calm her down,, attacks people that shes scared of and try to touch her, yet she's fine with him. My dog just got bitten by another dog, again they were fast to get us in for help and made sure she was pain and infection free! Thankful to have them!

One member of staff wasn't very nice and seemed like me and my cat bothered her and she kept telling me I was wrong when I know my cat. Glad I don't use them as my regular vets.

I took my dog in, she was diagnosed with a infection and kept over night on antibiotics and told she needed an emergency hysterectomy When they took her to surgery the next day, they called to say she was riddled with the cancer and needed to be put to sleep. However proceeded to harass me for the cost of an unneeded overnight stay not needed antibiotics and not needed hysterectomy. They reluctantly agreed that she didn’t actually have the hysterectomy so that I didn’t need to pay for but the rest of their mistakes I did have to. I’ve paid in full for the unneeded treatment but they have lost the last 50 GBP I paid. For their wrong diagnosis and even though I’ve taken evidence in it was paid I still had to listen to a very rude receptionist. Clearly just interested in money and not the interest of the animal. My dog suffered unnecessarily for a whole night away from home unneeded needles and antibiotics when she should have peacefully been put to sleep. Very rude staff indeed.

Outstanding service from these guys. We cannot sing their praises highly enough.The care offered to our cat was second to none and at an affordable price that you cannot begrudge.Thank you so much for all the help you gave to our girl.I'll be recommending you to anyone who will listen.

We had an issue with our dog Princess and he diagnosed her and had her in the next day for opp a real pleasure to see a vettinary surgery that actually cares for the animals welfare iv had other surgery's that have refused to help point blank no as I was a little short on the fees but this was not the priory close practice they are a great team and I strongly suggest them

Great vet practice. Very friendly staff.The only negative experience is that the Taunton practice is not very wheelchair accessible for powered wheelchairs due to the building being an old one. However, they will come out to the rear car park and collect or treat your animal from there.I have been with them for 22 years, and they have treated 3 of my dogs.Ian, the owner, is very good, kind, and polite, understanding, and when my dogs have reached the end of their life, he really cared not just for them but myself too, treating us with compassion, dignity and respect. I highly recommend the 4 practices.

No thank you, they were not interested in seeing my sick cat. Because I have not registered there! My house cat, vomiting blood, they refused and told me to go to another vet. I did and highly recommend Tone Veterinary Centre, I was not registered there either but they were more than happy to help my cat!!!

The team at Priory Close are phenomenal and have really looked after our animals when we have visited- especially our Lab who seems to be rather accident prone..I wouldn't want to take our pets anywhere else and can always rely on Ian and the team to give the best care and treatment possible.
